Honeywell VISTA-20P Ademco Control Panel, PCB in Aluminum Enclosure

The listing has a picture with the alarm battery inside of the alarm box and it shows it connected to the alarm mother board. However the battery was never received when the alarm box was received.

Works as expected. I bought this control panel as a replacement of an older Vista 10 panel so that I could take advantage of my existing hardwired sensors. I also purchased the Envisalink 3 in order to have remote access capabilities.

Works fine but as with other Honeywell alarm products, documentation is not aimed at the amateur. Takes a while but with some good DIY video on the internet, you can eventually get there.

I installed this system after researching and finding out my old ADT panel locked was a rebranded version of the vista 20p. I just labels my old wires then disconnected and reconnected everything back up and followed the programming instructions. I added more wireless sensors along with the 6150rf keypad to secure all my windows and doors!

works for me just like it does for the big guys.

Replaced a 27 year old panel. Found instruction on U Tube - but easy to program and works well.

I just received the panel today. Looks new original packaging from DYMS at firmware version 9.18 (printed on the box). I will see if I can upload a photo. Once I get it installed I will update this review and star rating. The version was important to me because I want to use the 6162, May others have ordered the VISTA-20s and got what I call (returns) with lower firmware. More to come
