HP 15-dy1036nr 10th Gen Intel Core i5-1035G1, 15.6-Inch FHD Laptop, Natural Silver

I returned this laptop. It felt really cheap. Some of the keys were nearly popping off and with a few months the screen would flash on and off when I opened it. Too bad. My old HP is 10 years old and still good. Disappointed in you HP.

Screen quality and battery life are great. I have not used the camera.

I was in the market for a laptop that‘s powerful enough to handle the workload of my e-commerce business and light enough to take everywhere. A very long search with so many overwhelming options to choose from. My reasoning for selecting this laptop was based on the good reviews and price was exactly in my budget. Here’s my buying experience: Shipping was very quick arriving a day before scheduled. Box is a standard brown box with an HP logo on the side. Comes with a relatively long charging cable, setup pamphlet, and the laptop as listed. Setup was easy. Windows 10 walks you through step by step. The screen has good color for the price and the edges are thin. It’s not a touchscreen which I personally love. Speakers are better than my previous laptop. Comes with a good quality webcam. I’ve been using zoom to conference and the microphone picks up my voice from anywhere in the room. Outside of work, my son has been using it for online gaming. Only complaint is the fan gets a bit loud under heavy use. The positive, it stays cool and powers through whatever I throw at it. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and would recommend to anyone looking for a great value laptop perfect for emails, streaming, Microsoft office, zoom, and light gaming for the kids.

I have to admit I got this over a year ago actually one year and 45 days. Was doing perfect had no issues and I was extremely happy with the product. The only issue after one year warranty ran out 45 days later the complete system crashed and cannot be fixed. By no one!. If I wanted to go ahead and get it fixed per the HP customer support technology they would have to replace the hard drive and everything else which would cost more than what the actual computer cost me. So let me just say this if you want to computer spend that kind of money for one year only this is the perfect computer you get if you want anything after a year and get another brand get another computer this is ridiculous. One year 45 days exactly

I received this laptop and probably would have liked it if the cord included wasnt defective. I tried another HP cord (that belonged to someone else) in the laptop and was able to see that the laptop was charging. But the cord included in the box wouldnt charge the laptop at all. So I had to return this product because I wasnt going to keep the laptop and have to purchase a power cord too!!!

Excelente laptop

I had this laptop in my possession for four days -- just long enough to spend hours and hours and hours on the conversion from my old laptop. And thats when the hard-drive blew up. HP told me they could repair it and return it to me within three weeks of the time that they receive it. Then I guess I could take the chance that their quality would be better the second time around, and I could re-invest hours and hours on the repaired version. No thanks. I have work to do.

Great value

I must say, I was very skeptical, buying this laptop, after reading the reviews. I needed a laptop for college, and looked all over amazon trying to find one. Despite the bad reviews, I bought this.. Its very good. My daughters school sent her a HP probook, and this HP laptop is just as good as hers. The only thing, that other reviews said, is then fan is a little noisy, but not to bad. Other than that, this was a great purchase. Thank you.
