HTC Vive Tracker (3.0) & Vive Base Station

They do a pretty good job of tracking feet and waist movement. I primarily use them for VRChat for full-body tracking. They can get a little jittery at times, and they are very sensitive to any vaguely reflective surfaces that might be in the room, so youll have to cover any glass or glossy flat surfaces to avoid drift and jitter. They have a recurring, really stupid problem with powering on, however. Oftentimes, they will seem not to power on at all, with no light, but it will awaken SteamVR anyway and act like the tracker is tracking. However, it actually isnt at all. You have to close SteamVR, plug the tracker into the PC, reopen SteamVR, repeat in various combinations until the light actually comes on and tracks normally. I have this happen nearly every time I use them, and its happened with all three of my trackers (though not usually at the same time). Its incredibly frustrating, and is apparently due to the latest firmware update that happened *two years ago*. So dont expect it to be fixed anytime soon.

Bought 3 for full body tracking on VRChat. I’m pretty satisfied and they all worked as expected. Setting it up very extremely easy. Almost plug and play. Would recommend these for anyone wanting full body tracking on VRChat. It makes the game so much more enjoyable.

If youre looking to buy these specifically for VRChat, and youre on the edge about purchasing them, buy them. Being able to move your legs and hips is a complete game changer, the experience to me was comparable to being in vr for the first time. Simply cannot play VRChat anymore without using these, so much of the experience is lost.

Received in perfect condition. Packaging was very exception, and presentation was beyond incredible. I was really excited to get these as my first FBT units!! I can’t wait to use them! So far, overall a very great product. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a greater VR experience!

Yup great. Got it, and base station to connect to computer for vrchat. I use Quest and have the software to go wireless and stream the quest to my computer. Now full body tracking. No wires holding me down besides the occasional charge when needed. Its great.

I have had these trackers for a few months and can say they work wonder, they are a little bit pricey but are worth the money if you like vr

Soo much more battery life and much lighter than the 2.0

Battery life seems fine, very easy to use, they track well. The newer ones are smaller and lighter with an easier button, but these hardly weigh anything and the button is easy for me. I bought two and used a spare android device (or old phone) with an accelerometer coupled with owotrack for the waist tracking, works perfectly and can save you buying a third one.

Wow! These are amazing, they have excellent battery life, excellent size and weight, and with the 1.0 base stations, impressively EXTREMELY accurate, absolutely blows the oculus 2 tracking out of the water.

highly over priced but it works it’s good it looks good it’s like will probably re-purchase and recommend to others if the price went down
