Hunter Safety System Reflective Lifeline for Tree-Stand Hunting Safety Harness

Awesome safety line. This rope is far superior to the traditional tree strap I was using before. It stays tight, is easily adjustable when moving up/down the tree, and the rubber bell over the caribeaner keeps it from clanging around and making noise. The rope is HIGHLY reflective and very easy to find in the dark.

This product allows the climber to be attached to the tree at all times, and will arrest your fall if you should have one. If you hunt long enough you will have a fall, so you need a safety system like this one. One of the additional things I like about this unit is that the carabiner is covered by a bell shaped rubber cover so that it will not bang against your ladders when moving up or down on the your stand. No need to alert the deer that you are there.

I was a little nervous about using this with my climbing stand after reading some of the Q&A about this is not for climbing stands...I BEG TO DIFFER! This was PERFECT! You have both hands free as you make your way up the tree with a climber (after pulling your top section up and before making the next step) and it is VERY easy to move the rope up the tree as you climb. If you are going to leave your climber in place for a while it is even easier the next time as you slide the knot up the rope as you go. Once at the top you can even use the rope as a hoist for your pack/weapon. I cannot understand for the life of me why it would be said this is not for climbing stands. VERY pleased with this rope!

Absolute must have! I love the Hunter Safety System Reflective LIFELINE System. I started using the lifeline for first time last year saved me from taking a nasty fall... I wont climb in a tree stand without one! I love the new reflective aspect makes it nice and easy to find my stand with a small flashlight or head lamp!
