I had the older model for years that still work with the app but not with Alexa. These new ones work seamlessly with Alexa and are easy to set up.

About a year later, I am updating my review from 3 to 4 stars. I did originally purchase these with the expectation that they would work with my iHome app and they didnt, which disappointed me. However, I did keep these plugs and they have been working great. I even purchased two more recently to have more available smart plugs in the house. I love that I can set schedules for the plug to turn on and off and turn the plug on and off with my phone app. The entire reason I chose these is because I already have an iHome plug & the iHome app and I didnt want to have to download another app. These plugs are not compatible with the iHome app. You will be forced to download another random app to use them. However, separate from the app frustration, the plugs have been working just fine.

Used 2.4G wifi, BT on, followed directions to the letter (Im a telecom engineer & know how to follow process) but wont pair either automatically nor manually. So right back into the box & to the UPS store.

This product will not work unless you are nearby the plugs. But if you are away from home which is whats important. No dice. Useless!

these plugs were so easy to set up and connect to the wifi. Soon as I plugged in the devices it was detected by my home app. The shape is a bit odd as it is elongated so it is offset from the electrical outlet. Other than that they work perfectly and have no issues.

I get a little tired of using different apps for different smart devices, so the ones that integrate with Alexa are SO much better! The Geeni app is ok, it works great, but I dislike having half a dozen apps for different brands, so try to just control all devices through Alexa and this works great that way. Easy setup and management.

Super super super easy to set up and works flawlessly.

I already had several smart plugs that use the Smart Home app and these worked great with that app, even though it says they use a different app. It was extremely easy to add them to the app too.

Bought a bunch of these. Worked great first few weeks, but now work intermittently. Timer sometimes comes on, sometimes not. Will replace with digital timers. Would not recommend.

I set up 4 of these to cut on/off during the day. Easy to install!
