Bought a bunch of these. Worked great first few weeks, but now work intermittently. Timer sometimes comes on, sometimes not. Will replace with digital timers. Would not recommend.

I love the function and value. But it’s not compatible with any of my Home Kit. It’s probably thus less private and secure. Also, doesn’t work with IFTTT. Please either add HomeKit or improve the Geeni app.

I really like this Wi-Fi smart plug. Its extremely easy to operate with a smart phone using the Geeni App. I use this to operate my wifes holiday decoration, but it could be easily used every day to turn on lights and anything capable of being plugged into a normal 110V socket. This device is made from quality plastic. It feel very robust and solid in your hand. Its definitely not a cheap knock off. It comes with instructions that walk you through downloading the app and setting up the smart plug. Its very easy. The app makes this plug very capable as you can set up a schedule in it to turn the plug on and off at specific times of the day through out the week and month. I really enjoy this function. This makes turning on lights when the sun goes down a breeze. It also is very helpful if you are away and want to have lights come on for securing at night. I would definitely recommend this smart plug to friends and family. Its a value at current price and once you get one you will want everything on them as you will have total control of your home at your finger tips no matter where you are in the world.

I never thought we would love smart plugs until we got some. These were very easy to setup with Alexa and work seamlessly. We have our outdoor patio lights and fish tank plugged into them. The outdoor lights utilize Alexa, which is fantastic when taking the dogs out when dark; you simply tell Alexa to turn on the outside lights and BOOM they are on. You then do the same when turning them off. You can also turn them off/on through the app which is great while on vacation or away from home so it gives the impression someone is in the home. The fish tank is set up on a timer and works wonderfully. I would purchase again.

If youve used any Tuya/Smart Life integrated devices then you know exactly what to expect. If not: the Tuya platform lets you connect smart devices to a hub and configure them in Tuya (or Smart Life or other rebadged app) or link them to Alexa or Google Play, where they show up as devices. These outlets are no exception. They dont do anything fancy (the app lets you schedule, automate, etc, or you can do that with Alexa), but they really dont need to. Pairing was stupidly easy. Some plugs can be a bit finicky but these connected almost instantly through the nearby device scan. Very impressive. Actuation of the relay is responsive, and I love that it has a manual toggle button. The profile is perfect for running two side by side or having one alongside a wall-wart plug. Highly recommend. Basic and incredibly effective.

I havent added Alexa yet, but expect no problem. It reads out the consumption on a daily basis, so for example, my fairly large, mini-fridge typically uses .74kw. Nice. One thing that would be nice is ability to access that data when the device is not plugged in.

As of April 2, 2022, these are unusable... Basically trash unless you use Apple HomeKit. When they did work with Google Home, I had to constantly reconnect them to wifi. Now you cannot use them at all… “Any integration with third party services such as Google Assistant, SmartThings, Amazon Alexa, Wink or IFTTT will no longer work. Please transition to using HomeKit wherever possible.” I highly recommend Kasa Smart Plugs instead. I’ve never had an issue with them.
