I had been holding off on replacing our broken Badger 5 because it seemed like it was going to be one of those really difficult projects. I couldnt have been more wrong. I found super helpful instructions on the internet (the disposal came with instructions, but these were a little more geared towards novice plumbers like me), had to run out for one tool I didnt have, and it took me an afternoon because I was going slowly. If youre more comfortable with pipes and dont have to go to the hardware store, its going to take even less time.

I received the disposal with everything needed to install it, free shipping...plummers putty was the only additional item I had to buy..The hardest part was removing the old rusted disposal..The entire instalation took less than one hour start to finish with no leaks..Much quieter than my 20 year old Insinkerator..it also helped to watch a basic installation video of a disposal on You-tube..Good paper instructions were included..A one person job and very proud of myself for doing it myself..would highly recommend this product

This is the 3rd ISE that I have installed in the past 12 years. I am so glad that I bought here instead of Lowes/Home Depot. They charge $15 for the power cable AND its needs to be wired in. Happy am I!

Our old garbage disposal imploded and started leaking water under the sink so the super fast shipping was very appreciated. I was replacing a Badger with a Badger so it was a super simple swap, 2 bolts, 1 hose clamp, a seal, and a twist and I was done. Total time was approximately 1/2 hour and that included emptying and drying the cabinet. It should be noted that I am not a very handy person, it was just that straight forward. Turned it in on and it is much quieter than my previous disposal, so I am happy with that as well.

Prior garbage disposal lasted over 13 years and was leaking, causing a partial cabinet replacement with it, so it was time to replace. This one was the same device as prior, so it was an easy plug & play. I would recommend to purchase the one with the electric cord as like in my case, the cord was broken and damaged inside de device so, no way to know it until I opened the old one. For a few dollars, it came all pre-assembled and was a lot easier. The new one was way silent than the old one ,as the water was damaging the internal mechanism. Since it happened so slow over the years, you will not notice the difference until the new one was installed. In my case, no need to call for help as this is an easy to install product. Good value for money, talking about a product that is built to last over a decade.

So to me single mother of 4 - A garbage disposal is a garbage disposal - Just needs to work!. With that being said - I purchased, I watched some YOU Tube Videos and began install. The only difficult part was holding the disposal with one hand in place while trying to secure it at the top while using a screw driver to rotate. SO Newbies it can be done - its just about a 15 -20 min pain in the butt. For those that refuse to ask for help like my self - I suggest you get a buddy to do it for you ! Will save you 15 - 20 minutes of bad words !! #shoutout2plumbers
