Great product but packaging wasn’t as good 1 bag broke open in box. Prob due to carrier

Ive been using this on my tank for years. Its always been a decent price and has worked well for my 75gal tank.

Professional aquariums use this salt. Enough said! Ok, but theres more to say! Heres when you should use this versus using the Reef Crystals version or other reef salts. USE THIS IF You are doing Fish only You are doing Fish with SOFT corals You have LPS and SPS but are dosing kalkwasser or 2-part to replenish calcium and mg. USE A REEF SALT IF If you have LPS and SPS corals but arent dosing (kalkwasser, 2-part, etc.) This isnt always true but thats my general advice for salts. Its economical and mixes well. Lots of great reef tanks use IO and it has a proven track record.

I got it for a brackish tank so not a bad deal.

I used to go to the Jersey shore a lot. I would navigate my way gingerly across the sand, trying to pick out a spot on the beach where I could lay my towel without being surrounded by discarded junk. A few years ago, I was able to relax there for a only few minutes before some muscle-head kicked sand on my face and stole my girl. I applied for one of those correspondence martial arts courses, and the next year I went back and confronted that same muscle-head with my new-found skills. This time, my ex-girlfriend held me down while he pummeled me. I would never waste my money on one of those correspondence martial arts courses again. This sea salt lets me mix up some ocean water for my pets without having to risk seeing that muscle-head or my bully ex-girlfriend at the beach. For that, its priceless. However, be warned: seagulls and beach pollution not included.

This is a great salt. It dissolves quickly and gives my tank the right ph. My clown loves it. I have a 10g and these bags last for about 6 months (I do a 20% water change every week). Make sure to seal and keep airtight once open because it will clump together. It will still dissolve this way but perhaps less easily. The packaging recommends 1/2 cup per gallon to achieve 1.022 salinity. This is pretty on point.

Delivered what it advertised. Great mixture for salt water. Tried others and this is the best .

the ONLY down side to this is that it tends to leave some scale in the mixing container-very consistent- Ive been using this and Fritz products for 30+ years

Easy to use and dissolve quickly. Recommend for 24 hours.
