The only difference between this CPU and the 10700K is that this one doesn’t have integrated graphics, as in, if you GPU decides to stop working one day, you’re stuck until you can get another one.

Was upgrading from an i5 processor to this and when I installed the i7 my computer wouldn’t boot up. Disappointed as I wanted to improve my Gaming PC power

I installed this CPU into my latest gaming rig build and found it to perform as advertised with no problems at all. Works really well with the MSI Z490 Gaming Plus motherboard, and Cosair memory.

Who needs the iGPU? Got this chip for $290 on a Black Friday sale and couldnt be more happy with my purchase. at that price, it pretty much shreds anything else on the market. Pairs well with my RTX 3090.

I build my own systems, and have now for about 20 years. If you havent yet, and are about to, welcome aboard what will be a very satisfying hobby/job. The last two were Intel builds, my previous being an i7 4790. Yeah, seven years ago. I had some money, and a wife who agreed the upgrade was necessary, and off we went. So good to meet the UPS man at the door, or in the front yard for several days in a row. Neighbors were jealous. It was just as much as a blink of yer eyes worth of effort to install this CPU. It really felt weighty and substantial in the figglers. The build went off without a hitch, and shes running now. Before, the Bluestacks launch would take about 30 seconds to load. Now???? Its done in about 5.8 seconds! Thats fast! I see the differences in speed on several fronts, and its very nice to command. Thank you, Intel, for another winner in the CPU dept.

I got it for $290, I’ve waited and waited for amd to get supply in and it never happened. Originally wanted the 5600x but I’m not going to pay scalpers. So I went with intel to upgrade my 6700k. No regrets it’s pretty good and if you play at a resolution of 1440p or greater there’s very little difference in FPS compared to amd’s offerings. Plus it’s in stock.
