Upgraded from my i5-6600k. Works as advertised. LGA 115x CPU coolers fit the LGA 1200 form factor. Its much more power-hungry than my old one, but all-in-all, I am happy with my purchase.

If you can get this on sale and pair it with the gigabyte z590 UD, its a great combo.

I like this CPU for it was so fast at the time as a medium gamer. I dont understand at first the letter code after the model name that this CPU can be overclocked. Im not a heavy gamer so I does not bother me but maybe in the future Ill give it a try.

It’s great keep in mind it has no igpu which I did start to miss after a while.

really happy with this choice, building a PC today will last longer then in the past since CPUs cant really get passed 5.3ghz, 8 cores is plenty for anything whatever happen to intel stating they would be passed 10ghz like 12 years ago? lol anyways love intel never would i switch to AMD, never have issues with intel systems, This shipped really fast
