> 3 dayFor gaming I guess 13700K is enough to be the top choice for everything, 13900K would not make a difference. But it has a slightly issue of overheating, though my 120mm liquid cooler keeps it below 95C but I heard you can lower the voltage while maintain the same performance, so it generates less heat

> 3 dayAbove are screenshots of my Passmark benchmark, both systems exactly the same, except the first picture has the 13700K and the second picture has the 12700K in it. The rest of the components are HX1200, Asus ROG Maximus Hero Z690, Gskill Trident DDR5 F5 6000Mhz, Adata Legend 840 SSD X2 set up in RAID 0. Vetroo Lurker 240mm AIO water cooling, Power color RX 6900 XT. I run all (P) cores synced at 5300 MHz. Temps idle at about 32 to 35C, hard benchmarking takes it up as high as 88 C once, typically about 75C. Ordinary gaming, tasking takes it to about 45 to 50C.

> 3 dayIntels 13th gen is a very strong contender and the i7 this time around is all the overkill I needed. While the i5 works great for gaming the extra cores in the i7 make it even better for game streaming or production workloads like video editing, It can be a little power hungry but uses that power to overclock extremely well, but thanks to the efficiency cores when you are sitting idle runs with very low power.

> 3 dayThis was a no brainer upgrade for me. The 13900k may be faster depending on what youre doing but this is a close second. No issues for me, and since the motherboard I used was able to take the cooler from my previous cpu (10850k) I was up and running right away. Temps are slightly warmer at times than the 10850k but definitely nothing to worry about. Quite pleased overall!

> 3 dayLoving the new processor! Seems like it can handle just about anything, really impressed with the speed and temps while paired up with the Arctic Liquid Freezer II.

> 3 dayHave my gaming machine running in native with my work VM running I parallel without a sweat. All these cores makes it a breeze for the machine almost never maxing out when performing multiple tasks. Worth the money as you’re getting 4 machines performance in one.

> 3 dayfirst this cpu is fast, the speed at which everything gets done is mind blowing for the price. But you better have really good cooling for this beast, especially if you OC it, full custom loop water with 2 360s and it will still get to 100c easy. the big let down with it, and all 12th and 13th gen intels is the ILM mount, it will bend the CPU causing poor contact with your cooler or worse bad contact with the pins, this can be corrected with a TG frame and some lapping but then youll void the warranty, but if you dont mind that you can greatly reduce the temps.

> 3 dayIf you’re looking at this as a gaming-only processor, you’ll probably get 95% of the gaming performance this offers with the cheaper and cooler i5-13600k. Save your money and put it into a better GPU over buying this because that will actually result in more FPS where this processor (over the 13600k) will not.

> 3 dayThe CPU paired nicely with the Z690 Asus board. Had to update the bios before it would boot. All of the reviews are on the i5 and I9. Make no mistake this cat outperforms the 12th gen I9 for half the cost. Cant wait to see what Intel has up their sleeve.

> 3 dayThis is the best CPU in the world, period.
