This CPU is amazing. I dont wish to overclock it not yet atleast but staying at the clock speed set originally it stays below 45 during gaming and other extreme tasks. It doesent bottleneck a high end GPU such as 1080tis or a 1080. Really good CPU.

If you are looking to upgrade your CPU this i7-8700 will not let you down. I got it for my personal rig as it was my first build and I am not interested in overclocking so didnt need the K version. It it does everything and then some excellent for gaming if anything its overkill for gaming and for doing multiple tasks its a great choice.

Love it super fast for gaming & never see it hit 100% usage.
