I like the 8 performance cores and the 8 efficiency cores. The efficiency cores are multi-threaded and the performance cores are not, thereby providing the best performance possible. I paired this processor with a Gigabyte Aorus Z690 motherboard and an Nvidia RTX 3080 graphics card and 32 GB of 6200 Mhz DDR5 memory. Works GREAT!

I just built my own PC in December, it is now April and this processor has been very solid, fast, and the clock speeds are reading as advertised.

This was a huge upgrade to my system for good price. Im back into the modern pc world. Win 11 runs great

This is the second computer that I build myself. My previous one was a threadripper 2750x with 16 cores. I was very impressed with AMD at that time. Since then it appears that the roles of AMD and Intel have switched. Intel is now offering more value for the money than AMD for similar performance. I am ecstatic and cannot wait for what comes next. The 12900k is a fantastic processor at this price point.

My primary use case for the 12900k is gaming and encoding video. Personally I could justify the higher price tag over the competing i5 and i7 because of my specific use case.

Meets all my needs for high-end photo editing use. PS and LR run with ease.

This cpu is killer and can literally handle any game you throw at it on max settings, and the same can be said for most workload programs. However I bought it back in early 2022, when it was still way overpriced for what it is now

You should pick any chip by the features you need. With that said I am very happy with the features, specs, and even super durable feel of this chip.

So just going to say that it went right onto the mother board. Like easist one I have ever placed. Just read which is up.
