High price, but high performance. Great processor but needs a serious cooler otherwise it will thermal cutback and slow down.

Intel has knocked it in the bleachers with this one. Super fast. No OC necessary. Using it with Win11 and a 3080 gpu. Incredible. Not regretting it at all. Glad I decided to go with Intel on this build

This CPU is power hungry under load but in games the CPU is fast. This also works fine for workstation workloads but this shines in gaming for sure. Also if you have the cooling this CPU can be clocked even higher for better performance. But for this you will need a decent CPU cooler.

Bought this for my 8 year old son so he can finally run Battletoads on his Nintendo Wii. Unfortunately, his 5950x simply wasnt getting him the 420fps in-game he wanted. With Intel this is now possible.

I bought this instead of the 12th gen i7 anticipating future demand for more cores. There is a price difference to consider. As many know, more cores doesnt necessarily mean better. Games only use a max of 6 cores, though it may vary from game to game. If you just want to game, buy the i7 series. My 4790k had served me so well, its still my backup on my old mobo. Its been at least 5 years since I bought ol reliable. Shes been through rough seas. It was time for her to rest easy.
