Although I had to run it several times it actually worked as advertised and fixed the viruses and allowed my laptop to work again. Customer service although foreign, was knowledgeable and helpful except I didnt like that they tried to sell you an upgraded version you do not need.

it did not keep virus off my lap top as good as other virus protectors so fo that I took it off my lap topit may be good for other things that I will look into but not as a virus protector..

does not fix the the task the main tasking menu for start up leaves bad lines of info

I really like the interface on this software. It is very descriptive especially on things like programs in the start menu and what they are/do. My system really smoked when I first got it, and guess what, it still SMOKES!!!!!! I was able to get a good deal on a year extension and upgrade to the new version. So far, Im very satisfied with this program and would highly recommend it.

Needs to be updated to get the most recent version.

Very unhappy. Thought I was buying a new version of System Mechanic as mine expired 9/21, so thought I would just buy new version. The one I received was from 2013!!! Now I have less features and paid same amount as renewal.

Love the system mechanic program. Even when I upgraded to a new computer, I immediately installed it on my new system, which has run fast and flawlessly since. Keep up the good work, looking forward to new features all the time

Great product. Instead of taking my machine to the local guru for maintenance --again-- I decided to go to my local department store and buy software on my own.

I bought this software based on a positive review on PC magazine. Sadly, I should have read these reviews. It totally trashed my computer. OS couldnt be seen by the bios and had to be reinstalled. Drivers gone and devices non functional. When I first installed it, it worked OK, but timing tests indicated virtually no performance improvement. Then, shortly after install, I got a message that an update was available. Installed, rebooted, and computer promptly crashed and couldnt be recovered. Windows install wasnt able to repair the damage. Many hours of work later, Im barely functional.
