> 3 dayI bought two of these black backpacks for my kids last year. We needed one more this year, so I ordered the exact same one. For some odd reason, this years black backpack has a white lining on the inside. It looks nice since its brand new, but I would prefer a black or grey lining like last years model. I took away one star because of the white lining. Other than that, it seems like a good backpack.

This backpack has everything I was looking for from having a snug pouch pocket from my laptop, to plenty of room to store traveling items I need for business trips. Very sturdy and good material and well-made zippers which is something I appreciate in a good backpack. Very happy with my choice so far...

Greater than one weekIt’s a good backpack, has lots of place for storage while not looking like a bulky bag. The only thing I wish it had was pockets on both sides like where you can store bottles or put gum or other small items. There is only one pocket on the left side.

> 3 dayOverall, this backpack is made very well and I will definitely use it. However, I wish I had paid a little more attention to a close-up photo of it because I might have noticed that the zippers are hidden by fabric. Aesthetically this is wonderful but practically it’s not. The fabric is a little stiffer than it looks to be in the photos. That shouldn’t be a downside, except it’s kind of hard to zip and unzip the pockets because you have to keep pushing the somewhat stiff fabric out of the way. Even when it was full, I had to tussle with the zipper a bit. I’ve used it for several days now, and it takes more time than I would like to get everything zipped up and then later get everything zipped open without having to mess with the fabric. I hope the fabric becomes a little less stiff with age, or I can picture myself becoming very frustrated with it the more times I use it. If I had seen this at the store and played with it a bit I would not have purchased it. Other than that, I would’ve given it five stars because it is very roomy, the straps are great, and it has some great pockets, although I would’ve liked a few hidden ones inside a couple of the pouches.

> 3 daySon is a junior in high school and can see this lasting him all the way through college. I had one and it held up for over 8 years (HS & college). TONS of zippered pockets and compartments. My son loves it and the navy is a great color! Highly recommend! A+

Greater than one weekThis is the best backpack for commuting that I could find. The three outer compartments I used for my cable and lock for my bike, one for my bike lights for nite riding and the smallest one for sanitizer,eye glass cleaner, and masks for the pandemic. Just wish it was a bit larger.
