I mean, it sounds freaking awesome! But…$500 awesome? No.

For a portable waterproof boombox, this thing is on steroids. Perfect sound level. Is it a 100000 watt sound system? No. Is it studio grade equipment? No. Is it far above anything else Ive heard for this purpose? Absolutely! We are thrilled with it

I can make a party any where any time. This thing rocks. i feel like a kid when I crank it up and drive around on my side by side.

I decided to go to a larger speaker for better (and louder) sound. Im really happy with this one.

I bought this speaker after reading the reviews and the fact that it was on sale because they just released the new Boombox 3. This speaker is amazing just like all the 5 star reviews I read. Excellent sound, clarity, and the bass in excellent fills the whole family room and living room with studio quality sound.

What great sounding bass out of this bluetooth speaker. If you experiment a little with the placement of this speaker in a room, bedroom, living room etc., it can become more impressive sounding. Little steep on the price but it was worth it....You can always send it back ,if not was described, and so forth. Have other JBL products in the past and had good luck(Sounding). JBLs Been Around...

Just hooked it up easily and I cant begin to believe the overall exceptional sound and quality. Cannot beat this product and for the price!

A lotta quality sound for the money!

Unlike some of the other reviewers, I cant offer any details or comparisons to other JBL products. I have an awesome JBL system in my car but this is the first boombox from them that Ive tried. I have to say that we really like the boombox. Weve used it for some fun sized dance parties a couple of times with great success. But, were mostly making use of this outdoors and we really love it. The sound quality is amazing and the balance of tones is phenomenal (at least until my husband gets hold of it and turns the bass way up). We love the bluetooth feature and I often plug my phone in for a charge while were in the pool. The price point is high for what I would normally consider for a boombox, but as long as this one lasts, it is definitely worth the extra cost.
