So I have the little brother to this boombox -- the JBL Extreme 2 -- which is an excellent speaker. It has a big sound and I love using it in my kitchen while cooking and doing dishes. The Extreme 2 is just over 5 pounds and 7.9 x 12.1 x 18.1 inches.

We have a very large backyard and we needed a good quality wireless speaker for our housewarming party. I did a lot of research and eventually decided on this one. It was a bit more than the others, but in the end Im glad I forked out the extra dough as the sound quality is amazing. Super clear sounds even when music is blaring. Never a distorted sound, always clear and smooth. When my friends heard how much I paid for this they laughed and said I shouldve gotten one from Costco. But once they heard the speaker in action, they agreed it was a good buy.

Oh my god where do I start. The fit and finish, the bass, the quality, the portability, ease of use, where does it end?! This is my SIXTH JBL I have charge 5s, extreme 3s, all of them are great- but this is next level.
