> 3 dayLove the speaker meets my expectations! I did purchase a cheap $30 speaker but comparing the difference this is much better quality and you get excellent sound with JBL! Don’t hesitate just buy it! I will be purchasing warranty with it soon!

> 3 dayEasy to use, compact but still great sound and volume. Compared to the larger model, this is more than adequate for listening pleasure .

Greater than one weekPandora is new to me, so is the notion of portable music. Well not exactly... I had a transister radio in the early 60s which beat my 50s crystal radio. Some where along the way listening to and sharing music, fell in to, get togethers around the sterio, or traveling in the car. 8 tracks where grand! I am used to some control of EQ. This unit has no easy provision for this. May be an app? The current fad is base heavy. This has a habit of clouding vocals. This Flip 6 is built and marketed to a less than audiophile demographic. I am amazed how much umph and grunt such a compact unit can produce! It lacks any aux inputs, which is disappointing. It would be nice to use our loaded ipods. To this end I tried a bluetooth adapter. It sucks off so much signal in the mids and upper mids, I gave up on that idea, before searching for better adaptors. Instead I went for a Charge 4. It is not as derailed as the Flip 6, but a nudge up in power, remarkable. This new portable excitement, brought me around to a JBL Go 3. This is what I use the most. Its size harkens back to the day when I scrounged around trying to come up with batteries to keep my transistor radio going.

Greater than one weekThe Flip 6 sounds pretty good for the size of the speaker. FYI, this replaced an Anker SoundCore 2 which I still use elsewhere. The bottom end is a little mushy. I wish it had tighter bass, though its hard to achieve with such a small speaker. The app is so-so, I wish it had more features and the ability to better fine tune the audio. Beyond basic. Lastly (for now), I absolutely hate where the power button is. I have the speaker sitting on my desk in front of me in front of my PC monitor. To turn it on I have to rotate the speaker forward putting a sharp bend in the charging cable. Why couldnt JBL just put it on top where it would be worlds more convenient? Anyway, only used for a short period. Ill update if something else comes up. So far to do like it but Ill withhold a recommendation for a while.
