Wow this thing is amazing! Just as good as my Bose if not better!

The JBL replaces my old Trelab 77, which I had for a couple of years. The Trelab was an okay unit, it was just built with some less expensive parts - the charger was a mini USB; the female connection slowly but surely deteriorated over the years to the point where it wouldnt charge. This unit uses a USB C connection which is much sturdier. Second, the sound is better; the bass mid and treble are all crystal clear. I dont think its as loud a the Trelab, but the clarity and quality of the sound more than makes up for the slight volume loss. I really like the JBL a lot.

JBL has been able to put together a superior sounding portable bluetooth speaker at a reasonable price. The Flip 6 has very good sound separation for its small size. The bass is strong and well defined and the mid and high notes are pleasant at fairly moderate volume which is loud enough for me. It can be played very loud but the detail quality of the sound diminishes. Battery life is very good and the speaker is small and very portable. I use it for my boat when Im anchored at a sandbar instead of using the boat stereo to save on the boats battery.

This speaker has a great sound. It picks up the smallest amount of bass and blasts it! The sound feels the room and it has a Great charge life. And very portable! So glad I made this purchase. The color is awesome too!

Overall, this is a great little device. The price is right, the USB-C charging is a blessing, and the sound quality and frequency range and response is impressive for its size. This would be the perfect little portable speaker if it only had an AUX input.

I read a review that this was louder than the flip 5. I got this for $100. My previous BT speaker was okay, but I wanted a USBC charging vs proprietary. I took this thing in the living room and it fill it. Then I took it outside and it was loud outside at 50-75%. I have the JBL EQ all set at max and it sounds great and crisp. I think the reason it sounds good is that 50% if the sound goes through the front, the other through the left and right side. Buy this once for $100 and you wont need anything for awhile.

It was 100.00 but I tried others and this JBL 6 is much better. Worth paying 2x more than the others. So far!
