I really wanted to be amazed by this unit but it came up short. I bought this to replace my Bose micro speaker. The Bose worked great with excellent sound quality at all volume levels but after the first year kept going into default and needed constant updates. The battery life on the Bose was ok but would not last more than 6 hours. After much thought I choose this JBL unit. I liked the 12 hour battery rating (will not last 12 hours on the higher volume settings), the higher watt rating and the ability to tune the speaker. This speaker sounds very good at the lower to mid volume settings but does experience distortion at the upper end. In the end it is an ok speaker at a reasonable price that should be able to handle the dusty environment of a construction site.

Easy to use, compact but still great sound and volume. Compared to the larger model, this is more than adequate for listening pleasure .

I have had this speaker for a month now and it has worked perfectly. It also pairs to the jbl app very good. I previously owned the flip 5 and between the two, the flip 6 it louder and way more crisp and clear sounding. Its a very sturdy speaker and easily portable; its also smaller than the flip 5. I absolutely love this speaker and will continue to go with jbl speakers in the future. The battery life isnt great at only 12 hours, but it should last you a day pretty well. I would definitely buy again!

Great sound right outta the box! Easy set up to your bluetooth!

I own this and the Sonos Roam and JBL is a better sounding speaker with better base sound and a much better price.
