kai Reed Diffuser

Love it

The Kai diffuser has a scent like roses. lilies, and jasmine. It is not overwhelming and perfumey...light and refreshing, like you have fresh flowers in your home! Also, this is my second Kai purchase, so I know how long they last: 13 months for me! It is worth the expense. You will love yours!

This is a good quality diffuser that smells fantastic. It has a light floral scent - hard to describe but definitely pleasant.

I’ve tried several readdiffusers and I quite frankly was disappointed with all of them as far as the range of sent. This absolutely did not have that problem LOL. If anything it was so strong my dogs couldn’t even go into the house, I started off with the eight reads as directed and ended up going down to two reads. The center is lovely and it certainly does impart a well ranging fragrance. It is packed very nicely, and the bottle is very stylish. However, even with all of those pluses, I can’t justify the $78 price.

Although Ive purchased this diffuser from Kais website before (and LOVED IT), when I was ready to repurchase, I thought Id save a few bucks on shipping by buying on Amazon instead. BIG MISTAKE. The first clue that something was off was when the cork snapped while I was trying to remove it, getting stuck in the bottle. It was as if the adhesive was old that held the cork to its top, and just gave out. Luckily, I was able to MacGyver it open with a corkscrew wine opener. But the bigger issue is the scent. When I purchased this diffuser off of Kais website, the scent was heavenly and STRONG. It filled up the whole room, and you could get the gorgeous fragrance notes as soon as you walked past. I actually removed a lot of the reeds to lessen the scent because it was so pungent! And it lasted for months and months. This bottle is nothing like that. The overall scent is the same, but it is so much more faint. Ive tried loading it up with reeds, repositioned them back and forth and up and down, but the scent fades within a matter of hours. Its SO disappointing - and I know its not the product itself. Its this particular bottle. My suspicion? These are OLD PRODUCTS. Old, mild scent ... old, faulty bottle. Give this a hard pass and do yourself a favor and pay the extra few bucks to get a fresh bottle from the manufacturer directly - the REAL Kai is so worth it.

I love everything about this diffuser. The sweet perfect smell of gardenia isn’t overpowering just perfect like a bouquet of flowers. Same with their perfume. Bravo Amazon for carrying these products. COSTS EXACTLY THE SAME EVERYWHERE AND FREE SHIPPING WITH PRIME

I LOVE THIS! The smell is lovely and it looks good sitting out. Im starting with 6 reeds, and while it is a very strong smell, Its not making my eyes water as other diffusers have. I even catch the scent in other rooms of the house.

I have bought maybe 4 of these now over the years and I own many other items by Kai. My husband loves the scent of gardenia, which reminds him of his childhood, and I do too. So I not only plant them in my garden, but I use the Kai products to bring a touch of gardenia inside. I use the diffuser in the living room and in addition to the wicks that it comes with, I’ve also placed some that I bought in S. Africa that are topped with delicate little porcelain flowers to dress the diffuser up a bit. I highly recommend all of the Kai products!

Wow, this is potent. The Kai signature blend smell is of gardenia, which is also the smell of Kai candles. The square bottle is very pretty - it does say Kai on the lower right hand corner, but it is in small white print and doesnt take away from the beauty of the bottle. The bottle could be turned around to hide it more if it bugs you. The bottle is really solid feeling and surprisingly heavy. The cork top is solidly seated. No accidental leaks. The dark reeds look great! They absorb and release the smell very well. The reed diffuser is really beautifully packaged and wrapped in plastic. It would make a lovely gift for a housewarming or for anyone who loves gardenia scents.

This reed diffuser is, to me, aesthetically pleasing. The vase type reed holder is just a bit smaller than 3 inches--width depth, and height. I like its compactness as that makes it much less likely to be tipped over. The glass is also very dense, so theres no sense of fragility here. I put only 4 reeds in this and placed it on my bedroom. The very light, delicate scent, which has a strain of fruit to it, wafted across three rooms. The cost of this item will make it prohibitive for some. I can see this being used in professional offices as the scent really does permeate rooms and the compact size make it extremely practical. The bottle comes with a cork in it. I couldnt remove it without using a tool.
