> 3 dayThe AC/DC Clamp on Multimeter by Klein tools is of very high quality and very easy to use. I have 4 of these meters and I am very pleased with their performance. This meter has very good value for the cost vs functionality and performance. I would highly recommend this meter to anyone that has the technical knowledge to use it.

Greater than one weekWorks good so far, use it every day for all my electrical testing of heating and air conditioning equipment ...

> 3 dayThe meter is great, however I would have rated this a 5 because it was missing a screw for the battery compartment. Poor quality control out of China. The screw is impossible to lose unless you completely take it out. It cannot just drop out. I have another Klein tool that uses the same screw.

Greater than one weekGood tool. But the package was hard to get into. I understand you don’t want people to steal them out of the package, but I cut my bag trying to get the plastic opened. Otherwise, tool works good.

> 3 dayI bought this meter specifically for the amp clamp feature and unfortunately the meter I received did not have a functioning amp clamp. I have seen a couple other reviews about the amp clamp giving inaccurate readings and not working at all. Also if you are like me and wait a few months before trying the amp clamp feature, good luck dealing with Klein Tools’ warranty service which takes 2-4 weeks just to respond to you after you submit a warranty request. Overall the rest of the meter works fine but the main feature is broken so I am giving it a very low rating. If I could go back I would have just spent the extra money and gone with a Fluke.

Greater than one weekThis is a great meter in terms of form and function. The exterior is very durable. The plastic parts seem very sturdy and there is a rubberized coating on the sides as well as on the dial. The dial and buttons are firm and feel like they are very good quality.

> 3 dayI am a Electrician by trade, through out my 22 years of experience 95% of my tools are Klein. I have owned about 3 pair of the Klein testers due to me loosing them, forgetting them on a job etc. Out of the 3 I have owned, EVERY pair ends up having issues when turning the wheel on as the meters will not come on. You will have to turn them off and on 2 or 3 times and sometime you have to tap the meters on your hand. I have replaced the batteries when this occurs and it makes no difference, its something within the meters. This has happened on every pair I have owned from Klein. My next set of meters will be of a different brand as this gets very frustrating when in a tight spot high in the air trying to check voltage. Sometimes this makes me second guess the readout.

> 3 dayI work in the electrical installations industry, and my workplace varies from an organized electrical room, to the middle of the jungle, so I am able to put to the test this instrument in extreme conditions, where it surpassed my expectations, My colleagues have Fluke instruments as it is the Default choice for my company, but I decided to buy the CL800 for myself, because of the price and reviews, and i am certainly not disappointed, even my exceptical colleagues now consider buying one of these for themselves.
