Do you use KMC app or Smart Life app? Online says KMC and the instructions say Smart Life. Either way, you have to download yet another app before you can use this. Since it says it works with Alexa or Google Assistant, I thought it would be just a plug it in and talk to Alexa. Goes to show you Im not as tech savvy as I hoped I was. I would use the KMC app as that is the manufacturer of the plug. Then you have to decide which device you want the plug to use. Since all our lamps are 3-way, I cant see the plug knowing how to use 1, 2 or 3 settings. Since there are no other devices I can see that would need voice control in our home, I dont plan on using this plug. It will be a good Christmas present for my youngest son who is much more tech savvy than I.

The app continued to timeout. I went to the online help, and it was worthless. I sat next to the router and it still wouldnt configure. I dont doubt that the experience of others is good - but mine was incredibly frustrating. Ive tried multiple times over the last few weeks - and the same answer - on two different phones.

This was so reasonably priced I was worried about quality. But its great. It is as good as the much more expensive smart plugs that I own. No downside. It was easy to download App and connect with both Google and Alexa. Having two separate, controlable plugs is really a GREAT feature. Glad I bought two... will probably buy even more.

Only could get one to work.

I use these for my Christmas tree and star on the tree. Love the timer so I dont have to unplug or plug them back in. When I get up they are lit up and just when I get ready for bed they are off. Awesome!

I have had several of these smart plugs over the years - of various different brands.... and the true test of quality is really how long they last. That being said, these have been working well for several months now without fail. The downloadable app lets you set the timing and sequencing - and it is very accurate. I had no difficulties syncing them with out wifi network and the app is user friendly. All around - great product and great value for multiple smart plugs!

These are excellent smart outlets. Each unit has 2 outlets and 2 buttons. Each button is used for manual on and off. If you hold down both buttons for a few seconds you will go into pairing mode. That is it for the physical side of things. So easy, and fool proof. The software side follows the same suit. You download Smart Life. Sign up. Put you smart outlet into pairing mode, then sign into your wifi. It took me about 20 seconds for each unit. I renamed each outlet and set timers. This is as frill free as it gets, but that just makes it more simplistic and fluid. The app is fast with absolutely no issues. I was pleasantly surprised as this is rarely the case. Great, affordable smart outlets, that work super well.

Bought these over the Kasa because of price, but you definitely get what you pay for. I sat for hours trying to get these to connect and they never did. I followed their directions step by step, even went to their website and dug deeper for information, still no connection. Eventually I ran out of steps and got to a point where it told me to contact them. No. Im not going to do that. I just pulled them out of the box. Initial setup should not be this hard and I most definitely should not have to email you, and go through the whole back and forth of trying to troubleshoot a brand new product. Thats ridiculous. The main issue I found is the app just times out. Itll find the plug, Ill hit the button to start the connection but that immediately throws the outlet out of sync mode and is no longer discoverable. No matter what I did I could not get a different outcome. It was the most frustrating thing Ive done in a long time. I tried both plugs in several different outlets - close to the router and not. Its not our internet either. We have 1000 mbps on a dual band modem/router. Im running doorbells and a garage door opener on the 2.4ghz so I know its not that. Matter of fact, we just had a completely new updated system installed not 2 weeks ago, new modem/router, new lines were run, the whole works. Theres absolutely no reason why these shouldnt connect and connect quickly. Obviously others are having a good experience, I was not one of them. Returned.
