Kwikset Tustin Entry Lever featuring SmartKey in , Venetian Bronze/Standard Packaging

Works and looks amazing!!!

I bought this to replace a similar smartkey unit that failed. Unfortunately the key cylinder turns the opposite direction from the deadbolt. I returned and bought one from home Depot. Later I found out that these entry levers have a lifetime warranty. I contacted kwikset and received a replacement. Now I have a spare in case it breaks again.

I ordered this handle/lock set for my patio garage door. It was a very easy installation and a high quality, ease of use set. I installed it and it worked perfectly. I plan to replace other doors with same appliance.

The Kwikset smart key is a great innovation in locksets and allows all doors to be keyed alike without calling the locksmith. I have eight of these, interior and exterior, and am able add another or to re-key in the event of lost keys. This would be a great option for rental property. Do be aware that there is a left and right to them, and although I have a few installed of the wrong swing, no one notices but me. The clear finish applied over the brushed nickel yellows and chips off in the sun and the escutcheon is starting to rust on one of the exterior doors after a few years. Otherwise, I would give 5 stars.

This is a good buy if you want a good lever style knob. Best thing i installed after tolerating a round knob. Its durable and reliable.

Good quality locks from quikset.

Amazon is turning into a fraud by the day. Its one of those place that sells defective branded items, this Lockset being just one of them. Amazon is getting rich while we lose our time and money by falling into its trap Bought this lock, with an electronic deadbolt, got skilled carpenter to install it and ended up with a broken jamb. The deadbolt wouldnt go all the way in. The deadbolt wont go into the existing slot, so the carpenter cut the slot so much that the jamb has no wood on one side. It still didnt go into the slot. By this time, the key had stopped turning completely!! The carpenter said if you bought it from Amazon, its probably inferior in quality. He has lot of experience and that resonated with me. So we rushed to the store to get new Lockset of similar make and same company... and guess what? It worked. The deadbolt went all the way in when in open position and goes into the old slot that we had. What a waste of time and money and a loss of a perfect jamb. Amazon better pay for its shameful cheap tricks to fool its customers. But its customer service is as pathetic as its fraud products Never buy brands from Amazon!!!

Easy to install and looks great. I returned it because i did not need the lock. I got the same thing without the lock.

No problems installing and works like it’s supposed to.

Its all metal except for the locking knob on the inside, but the plastic is not thin and flimsy. Easy to install and has a great finish. I like the fact that I was able to re-key it to match our other Kwikset locks so we only have to use one key for all of the doors.
