Been using LC pads for almost twenty years, still great quality and finally had to do a refresh of my stock, most of which was purchased over 15years ago. If you take care of these they last a long time.

The item that is shipped is nothing like the picture or the description, its a cheap piece of junk not Lake Country. Dont waste your money on this.

Works great on Harbor Freight 6” DA polisher

This purchase is a replacement for my 6-year old 5 Lake Country backing plate that finally gave up the ghost last year after correcting paint on many cars and trucks. I feel that I am less likely to do damage to my vehicles paints with the soft urethane surroundings of this backing plate. It alsomakes it easier to work around dips and curves of the vehicle. I use a smaller 3 LC plate for tight spots and headlight polishing. Finally, I use a variety of pads including the LC CCS and the velcro on the backing plate holds them all firmly.

I ordered this backing plate due to suggestions and reviews about Lake Country being good quality.. When I put it on my DA polisher it wobbles pretty bad.. The Harbour Freight 6 backing plate had no wobble and spun true.. I will be ordering a different brand

I bought this to replace the backing plate for my HF DA polisher/buffer as a much needed tool to swap out. This plate does the job and I use it now to help me complete the paint correction my new used car looks so good. a must have for sure.

Nothing to dislike. It’s a great product, even though it is NOT a Porter Cable, but have I used the Lake County brand before and it’s EZ and low cost with quick delivery to my SC home.

These plates are the best deal out there. The Velcro works with my California pads. You need the flexibility of urethane backing pads when polishing. The flex lessens the chances of burning paint when high speed buffing.
