LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Great Hall 75954 Building Kit and Magic Castle Toy, Fantasy Creatures, Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy and Hagrid (878 Pieces)

I bought this as a Christmas present for my 9 year old great-nephews. They were thrilled when they opened it.

My boys just spent the last hour and a half building this Hogwarts Great Hall. They said this set was for sure one of their top ten Lego sets. I agree; I was helping a bit and watching them build, and I thought several times, This is a cool set!. I asked them about it, and here are a few things they said: First, they LOVE the characters. The first thing they did was get the characters together and line them up. They really like Hedwig (the owl), the rat figure Scabbers, and the ghost Nearly Headless Nick. The characters also come with actual wands, not just Lego sticks. The boat is also pretty cool, as are the hidden stairs and the mirror that you can switch out to change the characters reflection. Two minor negatives: First, the snake (Basilisk) is pretty small and weak looking. Both of my boys were a little disappointed with the snake. Second, the chest in the castle tower is positioned so you cant open it without moving it. Minor I know, but it would be cool to have it open and close where it is placed. All in all, wed give this set ten stars if we could!

It was worth every penny to see the happy smile and the hours of fun my granddaughter had assembling this toy.

Fantastic! LEGO rarely disappoints and they certainly haven’t here. My 5 year old can build this set with help here and there.

We enjoyed every minute of assembly.

This is a great set. Lots of little details and a plethora of different characters. It’s not the toughest build but lots of super tiny pieces so be careful. Legos are so pricy and I was hoping this would take a little longer to do but I finished it in two sittings.

I love all the characters this comes with... my one complaint would be I wish for the price the castle could open and close.. instead its just a front and then inside. Its beautiful and a lot of fun to put together.

My 11 year old daughter loved this set. She got it for Christmas and put it together that day.
