Very well made and precise instructions

My boyfriend is a Star Wars fan and saw Amazon selling this when it had just come back in stock. It came in a very large box so be prepared for that. None of the pieces were missing and it all assembled together nicely. He’s still very excited about it to this day and raves to his friends and family about it. If you can get it for a good price when it’s in stock, I highly recommend!

Its expensive, but quite a challenge. Took a weekend with the kids to put together. We had a blast!

Loved every minute of the approximately 24 hour build over a month. This set is massive, and easily much more impressive than my UCS AT-AT. Even the instructions book is a massively heavy spiral bound novel. Much more impressive than the 4 separate instruction books from the AT-AT UCS set. Be aware that it is highly fragile, more so than the AT-AT, so don’t expect to be playing with it much. Definitely for adults. The only very minor complaint I have is that it has 7 landing pads, whereas the movie version has 3 or 5 depending on the film. Also, the set is Minifigure scale (I try to have everything in Minifigure scale except for the imperial shuttle) which was a huge sell for me. Except I notice the landing feet are much too tall. In the moves, Han bends down to get under the Falcon, in this one, almost two Minifigures can stand on top of each other. Not a big complaint, but I still think they could have shortened the landing feet and reduced them to 5 to be more accurate to Minifigure scale/movie version. Also for this that have built the AT-AT UCS set, the 4 individual boxes are not in any order. So I had to dump all the plastic packages out, then rearrange them in order. This is the one area they made easier on the AT-AT UCS. Overall, a must buy before it’s gone and you end up paying triple msrp. Although I love my AT-AT UCS, I would say you should easily get this set if you had to choose one over the other.

My partner and I bought this LEGO set to cut back on evening television watching during the COVID shelter-in-place restrictions, and now dedicate a couple of nights per week to building this LEGO project together. Sortof like some people play cards or put together puzzles. Its a fun way to feel productive, and to connect without the distraction of television. Were now well on our way to finishing building this incredible Millennium Falcon model and cant wait to proudly display it! The book not only contains very detailed step by step instructions, but also a lot of nice history regarding Star Wars origins. This set is really awesome and is sure to keep you busy for weeks (if not months). Awesome project!

From the moment I received the package was an awesome moment.. just from the moment opening it.. the thrill of emotions came up harder and faster... Till the moment I left every bag out was incredible.. by now Im converting every lonely brick into this massive ship. Every day I take a moment to assamble this part by part and Im very happy with it. Its not my first lego but it is my first in more than 20 years...maybe my first lego was at eight or so and now Im 33 reviving those moments of passion when I was a kid with this. Doing this ship is in another level.. you dont have to be fan of Star Wars to appreciate this masterpiece of Lego... But if you are probably you will get triple emotions like me. Hacer esta nave está en otro nivel... no tenés que ser fan de Star Wars para apreciar esta obra maestra de Lego... Pero si lo sos probablemente obtendrás emociones triples como yo. Great project, definitely challenging at times but very rewarding. Took about 50 hours and we’ll worth it

There is so much one can say about this super huge set. I built mine over 14 hours and a half and it just looks awesome in the table in the living room. It is a must for any Star Wars lego fan, and in general for any Star Wars fan. I will start by saying that the building is not as exciting. Many repetitive sections and too much empty space inside the ship. Yes, you build a couple of sections of the interior of the ship, but so much wasted space. The construction techniques, if that is something you are looking for, is sort of a mixed bag. Some sections are amazing, techniques really unique. But other sections leave just thinking mmm.... like those sections could have been better or used different pieces. Still, for its size, I would say that it is pretty good. Once complete, it loks amazing, but this is definitively the less playset set I have seen. Moving it around is super hard, as the ship itself is not super sturdy. It is definitively a collectible and not something to be playing around. Even for dusting it, it is very hard. It also doesnt help that some sections of the hull are just sitting there, with really no real support to make them more sturdy. This is for me what makes it a collectible that wont see much movement. Having built other big sets from lego, while I still loved this Millenium Falcom, there was this feeling that for its price, it should have been a better building experience. Still, it is an awesome lego set that I love having in my collection.

Great build, love the set. Shipping was less than ideal. Box was smashed upon delivery. Wasnt packaged in a shipping box, just a label on the actual item package. Spending this kind of money on a set, ill be buying from lego direct in the future.

I guess my disappointment is my own problem, but I had expected something far more inwardly detailed than what Lego ended up creating. The base is a husk that is sometimes pockmarked with known details, and then littered with Lego junk everywhere else. Once you get it all put together, you can lift odd sections of the “roof” to reveal some of the important locations, but none of the connecting tissue exists. From a distance, this puzzle looks complete, until you find that inside the corridors are simple stickers thereby negating the need to build them. There’s a lot of hollow room inside, room that exists simply as structure, but could have been form AND function with a few more pieces. Sure, to get an accurately sized model, it’d need to be twice this size, which should tell you just how big the actual falcon would have to be. Is this good? Sure? Is it awesome? For those that didn’t put it together and just see it, yes. For the person that wants a fully fleshed out falcon, this isn’t it at all. Personally if I hadn’t been drinking tequila and thinking “this will be amazing” then I likely never would have hit purchase and I would have been better for it. Lego could have done better. But they didn’t. And that is not worth nearly a thousand dollars.
