I mean where do you even start with this? This is an AMAZING build, I had so much fun building this and was up way too late for a lot of nights working on it. There is SO much detail throughout the entire set, it is so well thought out and the attention to every little detail is awesome. Take lots of pictures throughout the build to reference later if you need to put something back Be prepared to spend a ton of time building this, I dont think I even really know how much time I spent on it, but every minute of it was so much fun. I finished it ~13 days after I started it, but I worked on it in the morning, during breaks and at night after the kids went to bed. I highly suggest getting some trays to put the pieces into for each step, I bought (2) trays and would open the bags and put all the larger parts into one of the trays and the smaller parts into the other tray and that really sped up the process. I only started that on maybe day 3 and it was a lot smoother once I did. The other big suggestion that I have would be to look ahead a few steps in the instructions each time you are starting a new piece/section; there were a couple times you could build duplicates of pieces, but it only showed you on the last step. That didnt happen very many times, usually the first step would show you x2 and you could build the multiple pieces at the same time, but I definitely got caught by that at least once. Make sure you have a big area to build, I used a larger coffee table to build on and the couch to keep the unopened bags on. If you have small kids be careful, there are lots of small parts around during the build and it would be easy for them to get ahold of them. A lot of people asked me what was the point of all the detail on the inside of the Millennium Falcon once the top was on. Each of the panels comes off the top to expose all the details on the inside, so you can take a look at things later or leave a couple panels off if you want to. I would recommend taking pictures when you are assembling those sections of where the connecting rods go so you remember how to put it back together when you do that them off. There is definitely a certain order it needs to be done in so that all the pieces lay properly. If you are going to get a stand or case, know that all of them require you to remove if not all of the landing pads most of the landing pads, which kind of sucks, but it definitely helps with the foot print in the end if you are going to display it. Overall I highly recommend this set if you are into Star Wars and enjoy a more complicated build. I had a lot of fun building it and love having it to display in my office!

I do not regret this purchase, and I never will I think. If you are going to display this, highly recommend the light kit and verticle stand. If this is going to be actively used as a toy... I cheer you on for being braver than I.

Ridiculously expensive but a thoroughly enjoyable build. I have found it somewhat difficult to move safely once assembled.

10/10 Will get destroyed by energetic kitten. Would do again.

The box I received looked like it was kicked around the warehouse. Fortunately, the inner boxes with the pieces and instructions were intact. Other than the condition of what is supposed to be an Ultimate Collector Edition box everything else is in good condition. Im excited to build it.

Its expensive, but quite a challenge. Took a weekend with the kids to put together. We had a blast!

My partner and I bought this LEGO set to cut back on evening television watching during the COVID shelter-in-place restrictions, and now dedicate a couple of nights per week to building this LEGO project together. Sortof like some people play cards or put together puzzles. Its a fun way to feel productive, and to connect without the distraction of television. Were now well on our way to finishing building this incredible Millennium Falcon model and cant wait to proudly display it! The book not only contains very detailed step by step instructions, but also a lot of nice history regarding Star Wars origins. This set is really awesome and is sure to keep you busy for weeks (if not months). Awesome project!

A word of warning, the box this thing ships in is massive, it barely fit in my trunk. I opened up the shipping box to find another box, and inside that box was yet another box, and inside that box was four more boxes. Each of the four boxes contained like 15 bags of pieces, the boxes were not packaged by stage, instead i had to sort through all four. I started around 330 on a friday. Im still not done, but coming up on about 18 hours. If you are like me and grew up with legos and love star wars, but only got the sets that your parents could afford to get you but always coveted the big expensive ones, then this is definitely up your alley. Time consuming, fun to build, and incredibly detailed. I had been waiting for this thing to be available for about 8 months, and as soon as i saw it was in stock, i jumped on it. THIS is a true collectors item for both Lego and Star Wars fans. The only dilemma i have right now is where i am going to put it. If you are a parent, and thinking about buying this for your kids, think twice because this is NOT a toy. I have two kids but bought this for myself. It would definitely be a great family build project though. This build has so far been tedious, but an absolute blast and i cant wait for the finished product!

You already know if a $800 box of plastic bricks that will resemble the Millennium Falcon when finished is something up your alley. If you are that sort of person, you wont be disappointed in it. Thing is massive. The instructions actually have images to show you how to properly lift it and move it around. I clocked roughly 21 hrs total build time. Im not sure if thats fast or slow. Make sure you not only have somewhere spacious to build it but also somewhere in mind to put it before starting. One look at the manual (see pic) when you take it out of the box and youll get an idea of what youre in for.

When I ordered this set. I really thought that this would come in a nice box. Instead, this came in a larger box but was not protected on the inside. The box itself was scratched up and dinged very badly. For paying as much as I did, I really thought Id receive a nicer box. Otherwise, Im very please with actually receiving the item I purchased.
