Greater than one weekI couldn’t download some basic apps from play store for grocery stores in use, etc. When my kids play games, it sometimes gets stuck. I do love the size and the rainbow key cover. But it drives me crazy that the Caps lock isn’t there!

15-04-2025Bought this for my wife for school. After not even one semester of only one class at a time we turn it on and get this message. Tried the chrome recovery utility.... Doesnt work fails and goes immediately to black screen and shuts down. Peice of garbage save a few more bucks and get something with windows or something mac. Chrome is a dud.

Greater than one weekThis was a very nice purchase for me as a Freshman in university. Everything I need to do on a laptop functions within the browser. Web apps are a thing in case you need certain desktop functionalities in a pinch. But I would like to reiterate: think of this as a lightweight device that runs a very optimized and very fast web browser. And I mean that; the browser on this thing can handle as many tabs as I would ever need at once. The OS itself is also smooth and responsive. This thing boots up in 5 seconds flat which is a miracle compared to windows laptops I have used in the past. Something important to note is that storage on this thing... isnt a thing. Well it is, but without a third party file explorer you are going to be using Drive as your main storage. Which is great because I was able to redeem the 100 GB free two year storage with my Chromebook. I recommend using cloud storage with Chrome OS anyway, as it will keep the operating system running quickly and its just more convenient once you get used to maining it.

> 3 dayWe purchased for remote learning, within 10 days of using the entire bottom half of the keyboard does not work at all. Called support, was told we would have to send it in and they would repair which would takes 2 weeks. never received said instructions or information to do so. Warranty is simply to return at our cost for possible repair. Not worth the time and money to purchase again for a product that didnt last 2 weeks.

> 3 dayThe image and sound quality is pretty decent for the price point. The display can be a tiny bit pixelated at times but it isnt a deal breaker for me. The keys are plastic which isnt bad but it feels on the cheaper side. When I move the screen in any way, from any angle, the LCD in the bottom corners turn white as if I were pressing on the screen. I am a little sad that the track pad isnt durable. I have received this computer today and the right click has already stopped clicking. I had high hopes for this machine as it was going to do everything that I hoped. I bought this to supplement my laptop when I travel to check emails and watch movies. Not sure if what I experienced is an isolated thing or if this is how this computer is made.

> 3 dayI should have done better research before buying the Chromebook. It took several frustrating days before I finally learned that it is not Word compatible. You can use Word on it but it is a very primitive program and looks like Word circa 1995.
