So I have no issues with leaking or stop working like other reviews. It’s very simple i love the top pour and when you aren’t using it take apart so it drys and I found that you won’t get any mold. Just let it sit there with water ( that’s common sense) I can feel the difference in dryness in my room so for that I would buy again and it’s sleek looking

I like it alright. I think it’s a good humidifier. The only thing that annoys me about it is that I only get one night out of it before I have to refill the tank, and also if it runs out of water, instead of turning off, it just continues to try starting over and over again and it makes a noise when it does that, which is annoying. I wish it would just turn off when it runs out instead of trying aimlessly to start over and over again until I wake up and turn it off.

Its a decent humidifier with warm and cold mist options. Does a good job of increasing the humidity level in a short time. Only complaint is that humidity level shown on the display might not be relevant. It senses its immediate surroundings and the actual humidity level 2 ft away from the unit might be half of whats shown on the display.

Does it’s job but a bit of a pain to clean. I run it almost constantly during fall and winter. Needs a deep vinegar cleaning almost weekly even when using purified water. Otherwise no complaints.

Love it, better than the $30 humidifiers. Easy to use, I love that you can make the mist warm

I bought this humidifier for my room with many other hygrometers in the room, and the hygrometer on the humidifier always reads over 10-20% more than what’s actually in the room. With the smart scenes setting on my app, this makes it hard for it to stop when humidity is for say at 80% because the humidifier will read 80% and shut off, while all 5 of my other hygrometers read about 68-75 humidity, resulting in me leaving it on not knowing when it’ll mist up the room and end up being 90-100% humid. It would be helpful if the digital hygrometer on the humidifier read more accurate humidity.

I purchased the product roughly 39 days ago. Since purchase, Ive run it nearly every day and exclusively use distilled water. The other day when refilling I noticed that there seemed to be a large build-up of something black and generally not something youd want to breathe in at the point where the reservoir feeds into the base, next to the black ring (which I assume is the plate that turns water into vapor). While this is a general hassle you have to deal with on just about all humidifiers, the design of the base of this humidifier makes it impossible to thoroughly clean every nook and crevice as there are sharp angles and cut ins for other plastic pieces to fit. This means youd need to basically use a cleaning solution of some sort that could get into those crevices and kill any bacteria holding out there but doing so will potentially damage the internals of the device, not to mention that those cleaning solutions themselves if not well removed after cleaning could do harm. My advice to the manufacturer: 1) Every surface that contains water within the base of the humidifier should be easy to clean and disinfect without the use of a Crevice brush, Rather than hard corners where 2 plastic pieces connect the corners should be rounded so that no bacteria/mold or other uninvited guests can get underneath them. Ideally, a paper towel, some disinfectant, and a finger should all thats needed to get a humidifier back up and running again and make the buyer feel confident that they arent inhaling lungs full of either disinfectants or whatever that black stuff was. 2) Throw the refill hole on the top of the reservoir... why the bottom? On some devices it makes sense..but for this one? I dont see any logical reason for it. 3) The part of the reservoir which connects to the base should be a thing that can be easily removed, disinfected and placed back on the reservoir. #4) How about some google home/Alexa integration? I intend to keep this humidifier for now as options for quality humidifiers that can humidify large spaces are limited. That said for my bedroom at least Ill be planning on upgrading to a Dyson humidifier or something else with UV light that can kill bacteria in the base.

I have two of these and a Pure Guardian H3200WCA. I like the Levoit much better because the water tank is very stable when filling it where the Pure Guardian must be balanced as the filling port is on the opposite side of the curved tank. I had to roll a towel up from two edges to form a trough to hold the tank steady. The Levoit has a flat top and bottom. You turn it over and remove the lid, pour in the water and put the lid back in. The only drawback is the Levoit has blue lights that cannot be shut off, which makes it harder to sleep if this is used in a bedroom. A final comment the Levoit has yet to grow the red bacteria found in my area where the Pure Guardian seems to be a breeding ground for it. The bacteria is harmless but does require cleaning to avoid a slime build up. Over the two weeks we have had this unit the aromamizer fan became noisy and when I tried to disable it I found that Levoit does not build their products to be repaired. Three of the screws were conventional Phillips the third, buried deep in a hole, proved to be an number 15 Torx. Now the only sound is from the hum of the power supply and it was muffled by stuffing 1 1/2 cotton balls into the aromamizer port. I am a strong supporter of requiring products to be built to be serviceable by the owner. As an IEEE Fellow and amateur machinist I feel it wrong to make me spend $200 to fix something I could fix is 15 minutes. Boo! Levoit. But it is a good humidifier:-) Six month update: We bought a second one to keep up with the cold, dry winter. It is easy to fill, which is good given the number of gallons we run through it a day. Both units have a strong tendency to race the fan motor just after filling the reservoir and make a lot of noise. A few whacks to the side solves the problem. If the unit had a filling port on top it would be easier to fill and the fan probably would not get into the race condition. Update: The solution to the race condition is to unplug the unit when filling it. Do not use the on/off key because the unit runs until the water inside the unit is exhausted. If unplugged the water level remains and when restarted - no race noise! It also helps to add water to the base before putting the tank on. Update: The original units are getting too noisy, but because they are so easy to use and effective be have bought two new ones that appear to be slightly different. No motor racing noise yet but a high pitched hum has forced us to move them to more remote locations in the house, where they work fine and keep the house at 40% humidity. Update: Had trouble with one of the valves in the tank. Called Levoit and a new cap with valve was sent promptly. No hassle at all. Update #2: They have been in continuous operation for about 8 months, putting about 4 gallons of water into the air every day. No problems, but we did notice that initially there was red growth growing on the bottom side of the tank and the top of the base unit. We rinsed the surfaces with near-boiling water and after three rinses a week apart, the problem was gone. Still have to clean it periodically though. The red stuff is probably a bacteria, Serratia marcescens, which likes moist environments. It can cause infections, so keep it under control if you get it. Were still loving the units we got in 2018 and finding the tanks from the 2017 units useful as we keep them filled and swap the tanks, then refill at our convenience. Levoit should consider selling spare tanks.

Your sinuses and your skin will love this. Cleaning once a week is a 10 minute chore but worth it. Best part is the app control. You can schedule it for when you’re coming home and to scale back when you’re away.
