20-04-2025Have had this projector for 8 months. Worked great for a while now says Internal Temperature Too High and shuts down after about 30 seconds of use. Very disappointing. In the laborious process of trying to get repaired thru LG 3rd party approved party. Not sure its under warranty as it was refurbished.

Greater than one weekIve owned this projector for years as a TV replacement. It has worked great, has many nice features, and has been trouble free. The only weak point is the brightness, which is limited to 600 ANSI Lumens. Now I am searching for an upgrade to 4K and at least 1500 ANSI Lumens, but those are still almost 3x the cost of this projector here. I will keep using this one until a good deal on a 4K upgrade is available. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone who can control the amount of light entering the room. As long as you understand the brightness limitations you will not be disappointed with this purchase!

Greater than one weekThe product is excellent and it is enough from an old company from LG Lighting 600 lumens The room needs some opacity to be seen The device withstands more than two hours without recharging The device is excellent for small, light mobility Fit for teachers and anyone who wants to show anything anywhere Movies programs presentations Flash Memory But the people who buy it in Saudi Arabia have to pay attention - Arabic is not available - The electrical socket is not compatible with the system in Saudi Arabia A triple socket is required in accordance with the Saudi system (I provided it from the laptop socket)

17-04-2025I bought this and was at first thrilled with it’s performance and as a projector it is great! However, I soon discovered not only is this not really compatible with any apple products (computers, tablets, or phones), or most mobiles without purchasing a $20 app (twice which I’ll elaborate on later), the LG smart tv Software didn’t support Prime Video and several other streaming apps I wanted. So no way to watch without hooking up a laptop or phone, both of mine are Apple so no dice. For the price they really need to update their software to be more compatible and expand their app market place. Also for projecting from mobile it encourages you to buy an LG app on Mobile, which costs $20 one time. Not bad, but when it didn’t work it encouraged me to buy another app again for $20, which ultimately was a clone of the previous app, also did not work on my iPhone. I asked multiple times for a refund, never got a response from either apps’ help desk. $40 in for two defunct versions of the same app.

> 3 dayIt gets the basic stuff right. Sometimes apps crash (and I think I saw webos crash and a reboot once). But its small, has enough connectivity, has a decent picture, and was decently priced.

> 3 dayThe picture is great, I like how compact and well designed the exterior of the projector is buttttt…I just about lost my mind trying to set this thing up ( I’m not a pro but I am pretty good at figuring these things out). You have to use mimecast to mirror UNLESS to add a Roku or similar to mirror thru which is almost necessary because the only major streaming apps that you are able to install are Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube??? Doesn’t make since since other smart products they offer have that ability? WTH? Hey, but they do have Tetris and a bunch of other random apps so I guess that makes up for all the trouble? We will never buy another lg anything and may even return this one.

> 3 dayThis is a great projector, sadly I had to return it because of missing features I need like 3d,zoom and a custom preset picture option which might be there but I didnt get a chance to get deep into settings because I didnt have the optimal mounting position,I do but I didnt want to drill holes in my ceiling,I wanted to replace it where I have my wowoto h9 and because there was no zoom feature the picture was bigger than my 100 inch screen, also since I already own a portable projector the zte spro 2 so even though the picture on the lg is beautiful and better at 1080p compared to 720,keeping it was not an option for me but as a first portable full HDTV projector with some missing minor features for some its a great projector.i giving this act star review because of the speedy delivery and great customer service!

> 3 dayTo preface this review, this is my first time owning a projector. Overall, im pleased with my purchase of this. If you can catch this on sale then dont hesitate...its still a solid buy at full price but if I had to do it again, I might have waited and spent more on a higher end projector. Its small but mighty. A great thing about it is that it does not take up much space at all, so you can put it anywhere. Also, the built in battery makes it nice in case you decide to go mobile or have a power outage. There are two HDMI ports on the back of the unit which is nice. While im using both, you do have the option to use the imbedded apps in the home menu so you can really maximize what you do/dont need. If youre any type of an audiophile, the built in speaker is not going to be enough. I added an external pc speaker system to it and can was able to get the type sound I like. Its a 3.5mm jack so find what works for you. So between the external speakers, xbox, and firestick all attached to the projector, I have a lot of wires. Luckily my coffee table (which I cut a hole in) is low enough to hide the wires and powerstrip from view, but high enough to have everything plugged in. I wish the picture was brighter. For a projector thats not 4k, I think the level of detail is absolutely fantastic. Its not hard to see intricate detail at all, and makes for one heck of a movie night. As my primary viewing apparatus, this projector is NOT suited for well lit rooms. My living room gets a lot of bright indirect sunlight, and renders the projector basically useless. The darker you can make the room the better, and the picture above with the most clarity was taken in a completely dark room with no sunlight. The pictures above were taken on the vivid setting, which is the 2nd brightest setting. Anything else below vivid is dark and makes it hard to see. This projector shines with sports and video games. Regular tv/streaming is nice as well, but some of the colors dont look as good as they do for games and sports. If youre looking for your first projector, this is a solid entry level buy.
