My 93 yr old, a few years back, choked on her food at the table. My parents and I sat there stunned like she couldn’t be choking-but she was. I jumped up from the table, I grabbed her around her weight and gently pumped my fits. I was terrified that I would break her ribs because her bones were fragile already. I haven’t used it yet but I’ve seen it used on tv a couple of weeks when a baby got choke on a gold fish cracker. It’s a good safety tool to have in your home

We purchased one recently for our home for when our grandchildren visit or other family members. Easy to use when you may be in a choking situation and may not recall any of your training. Plan to buy more for my family to keep at their homes.

I have a 3 year old daughter who managed to get ahold of a round peppermint candy. It was lodged in her throat and her airway was completely blocked. She was beet red. It was the worst thing I have ever seen in my life. After I tried back blows and my mom did as well, the candy still did not dislodge from her airway.
