I bought this for piece of mind as a last resort for my wife. Better to have it, ready to go if we need it on the fly. It’s kind of crazy that they don’t want you to open the bag of actual mask until needed. I can only imagine your kid choking and you trying to figure out which mask is which and then having to rip it open and put it together. I have mine locked and loaded ready to go.

I have not had to actually use the item but I’d like to give some advice before purchasing: 1. Be very careful when putting on the practice mask. Don’t push hard! It will NOT come off if you use anything other than minimal effort when pushing on. I had to contact Lifevac customer service because we tried everything to try to get it off….which leads me to point #2… 2. ONLY BUY FROM THIS SELLER if you’re going to buy on Amazon. Customer service told me that this is the only authorized Amazon seller so they replaced my dechoker at no cost!

Hopefully I don’t have to use it but seems like this had a great suction and would work

Saw the video and knew it was something everyone needs. I have a 3 Yr old great son that I occasionally keep and now I think I could help him if something ever happens.

I bought both the home kit and the traveling kit for my granddaughter. Shes almost 9 months old and I wanted her parents to have some peace of mind with the kits. Ill be buying a kit for myself since I live alone and wouldnt have anyone to help me if I started to choke. I hope they or I will never have to use it but its worth having it around because you never know...
