I got this one for my son to use on our upcoming roadtrips after reading the reviews & the price was a lot better than others. Its easy to install, I thought it was free standing, it had maybe some cardboard legs to help it stand, but no, it just sits on the lap. Kind of iffy on that as kids dont sit still for long. Also after slowly peeling off the plastic that protected the whiteboard, some still stuck to the side and wont come off. Lastly, I would have done 5 stars if the whiteboard didnt have air bubbles or if it was put in correctly.

This travel tray actually worked better than I expected. I purchased this for my 6 year old daughter, who has Sensory Processing Disorder, to use on a short road trip. I really only intended to use it for her to eat her meals on because I didn’t think she could handle the sensation of it for very long. She actually ended up using it to play with her toys for most of the trip. One thing to note, I have a Britax Pinnacle booster seat for her, which is very large. The tray’s cord is suppose to go around the child’s car seat and clip on the other side to keep the tray in place. The cord was not long enough to go around our large booster seat. My daughter is very thin so the size of the booster was the hitch. To solve this I put a small foldable stool on the floor so her legs weren’t dangling and the tray sat perfectly level on her legs. The tray is a good weight for her and the little Velcro compartments came in handy to keep her toys and water in place. This mat did cover up her booster’s cup holders but it didn’t matter in the end since we used the Velcro compartments on the tray. There are pockets on the sides and an iPad Velcro compartment but we haven’t used those. I will say that my daughter has her iPad in a case already and that wouldn’t have fit in the provided iPad compartment. I have decided to keep this in my truck, since it folds down so nicely, to use for around the town trips if she wants it. I’m glad I bought it.

It’s pretty low , so my 3-4 yea fold didnt like using it since they kept looking down (and my kids are very small for their age). It’s nice when they are eating though since it takes care of the mess instead of the food getting everywhere on the actual car. The sides NOT hard . They literally just fall next to the kids lap, so it doesn’t help keep stable and keeps shifting on the kids lap. Definitely not what I had pictured or imagined based on description and pics. My grandson loved it for our long road trip, or even short trips through the drive through.

Its as sturdy as you could expect, it travels well, and I like the whiteboard surface. Its good quality, maybe a touch expensive but worth it to keep them entertained.

Purchased for a road trip, and it didnt work for us. It was challenging to set up and collapsed easily. It ended up in the bottom of the trunk most of the trip. Maybe it would work for some, but not for us.

This works wonderful in a car seat. I especially like the fact that it straps in. We strapped it in around the back of our 4yr old granddaughter. She loves it. Everything is within reach for her including her waterbottle, pens, paper and if she doesnt want to write on the paper she can use the Whiteboard. We packed it with a pad of paper, crayons, colored pencils and wipe off markers. Everything fits in there so nice. Its a great idea that you can close it up when they get out of their car seat. They can bring it in the restaurant or wherever youre going. If you choose to bring it in a restaurant, keep in mind that it is on the bigger side. It does take up some room. The tablet display option is also very good. She used my phone inside of it because we dont own a tablet. It works just as well. using this one time I decided to purchase another one for my six-year-old grandson.

I thought behind making it was good it was assembled well and good material

This has been perfect for traveling in the car! Provides a sturdy surface for my child to draw on, read a book, and holds the ipad, drinks, etc. securely. The side pockets are great too for my child to store things like headphones, crayons, markers, and other items needed to stay entertained on long car rides. After a 9 hour drive my child wanted to keep going because she has so much fun using this! Wish I had bought this years ago to help keep her entertained on long car rides! She is able to buckle/unbuckle it on her own, but I do have to help fully remove it. We had no issues with quality, seems sturdy and durable.

I bought this for my grandson for the long trip to Ocean Isle Beach. Even though it was very nice and a wonderful idea for kids travel, he didnt use it the whole time. We got back yesterday, May 13th. I was going to return it but noticed we missed the return date by less than 24 hours.
