Got this for a roadtrip recently for my 3 year old and it worked great. Once its clipped onto his seat, it was easy-ish for a grownup to lean backwards and unclip when he wanted to be done with it, and have it just sit to the side of the carseat for use later. We used the tablet pocket too and were able to have the ipad plugged in while he watched some show and also played a game while the ipad was inside the sleeve. He played with toys on it and liked having the little pockets for different toys. Cant speak to coloring or drawing on it yet but it was sturdy enough for snack and to put his water bottle on and not fall off so it seems legit.

My daughter really liked this! The only issue which really isn’t a issue is the hassle and f taking it on and off . But my daughter used it on a 4 hour trip. Kept her quit and busy the whole time . She ate, drew and used her tablet on it.

I recently discovered these trays and I wish I had known about them years ago! Theyre the perfect size for my 6 and 7 year old and have enough room to hold their iPad, snacks, and drinks. The trays are incredibly easy to set up and even easier to wrap up and store in the car. Overall, Im really impressed with the convenience and practicality of these trays. If youre a parent on the go, I highly recommend giving them a try.

This is a very convenient tray to have for a toddler. I honestly havent used it for traveling just yet but we use it daily to keep busy activities contained. It can be used for several things. The only thing I would change is the space for the clear tablet holder and thats why its not getting five stars. Realistically, toddler tablets need a special cover so that they dont destroy it within the first week. This cover makes the tablet a lot thicker and it does not fit with room enough for my daughter to put it inside and take it out by herself. So that was extremely frustrating for both of us. For now, its holding coloring pages and thin books we rotate weekly.

I will not use the attached strap to wrap around my grandson. Having the strap around him in The car while traveling seems like a big a Safely hazard. This should be able to be unlatched from the lap desk.

UPDATED REVIEW 10/16/2021: I opted to take a leap of faith and re-ordered two of these and returned the previous ones. I am thrilled to say I did not have the same outcome as before. I love these trays! So easy to piece together and package back together. I love that they close flat and have a shoulder strap for carrying. I also didnt notice this before purchasing but theres a zipper underneath the erase board tray. I am so excited for more storage - potentially storing additional coloring books. I tested out the drink holder with our kids 12oz Yeti tumbler - its tight, but it fits!!! Were ready to go on long road trips - hopefully without any tantrums. I will update this after our first cross country trip! (For reference, my kids are 1.5 & 2.5 years) 10/13/2021: I ordered 2 of these trays for an upcoming cross country road trip. Unfortunately, both arrived in used condition. One had black dog hair covering the tray and crumbs on and inside the tablet cover. The other one had more black dog hair and the whiteboard was bubbly which makes drawing on a bit difficult. I have returned these to Amazon. I would like to re-order them but Im reluctant in doing so because I dont want to be disappointed to receive used products again.

I bought this item for my 5 year old son a year ago and it has come in pretty handy. The only issue with it now 1 year later is that the Velcro no longer sticks. This item was dismantled each time it was not in use and put away. I guess if it wasn’t for that then the velcro would still be good.

Cool but not sturdy and the extra things they give u to create holders dont work at all. Cool to think of my using but in reality wont be used but maybe 3 time unfortunately

We recently had a long car trip ahead of us, and I wanted to make my eight year-old more comfortable. Hes short enough he still uses a booster seat, so the tray rested on the mini-arms of it. He was happy as a clam! Very easy to set up, no weight resting on his lap, and it was steady enough for a drive-through meal. He ended up not really needing the tablet holder, though it attached just fine. I doubt well need it for shorter trips, but for a whole day of driving, it was terrific. My older child, who is not in a booster, wasnt comfortable with it on her lap, just something to keep in mind.

Great for the multi-hour car trip! Very easy to unhook and rehook at rest stops. I bought Dry Erase Crayons for it. Didn’t even know those existed! I wouldn’t say any of the holders or pockets were terribly useful since he couldn’t really reach most of them and kept pulling off the Velcro, but the tray part was great!!
