> 3 dayWe purchased this for our 6-year-old for a road trip. I appreciate the thought that went into the design (the iPad holder, the side pockets, the dry erase board, etc...), but it was just OK. The dry erase board arrived a bit warped (the white top part), so there was a section unusable. The sleeve for the iPad didnt allow my daughter to touch the screen, which she didnt like, so we ended up not even using it. My biggest issue was how it attached to the car seat. When getting in and out of the car at gas stations or rest stops, it was a huge pain to try and unclip it and maneuver it out of the way without spilling everything. Without my daughters legs balancing it, it would fall over. So we ended up having to unload the tray each time. So overall, I would say its just OK. After having used this, we will likely go back to using something that attaches to the seat in front to make stops more efficient.

> 3 dayThis is great for my kids! They use them on car rides when they eat or when they want to draw. They seem bulky but fold pretty flat. I just store them in the back of the car, but it is a bit of planning so I can take them out when i know I will need them. Unfortunately, they do not fit under the seat or anything in my car (crv).

> 3 dayWe recently used this on a six hour flight for my kid. I was going back n forth deciding if I wanted to spend money on this and if we needed an extra thing to pack in our carry on. So happy we did! We were able to pre-pack some coloring books, crayons, puzzles, & some other small items in the tray itself. Be aware that it is quite wide. I was able to fit this in my personal roller duffle bag, but there was no ways that it would fit in my kids medium size backpack. It was nice having pockets/areas in the tray for all of the toys, drinks & snacks. It also prevented them from falling on the floor. The seat tray on the Airplane we were on was quite small so this added extra length so that my kid could easily sit back & still reach our tray.

Greater than one weekI was skeptical when I first opened the tray . The side flaps are not stiff so the tray cannot “sit” over the child’s lap. Before returning it though, I got a grandchild to try it out. This is what we discovered : 1-We have the Diono car seats ,so stiff sides wouldn’t have changed anything since there is nothing for tray to sit on. 2-The cup holder device is just a velcro piece that you position, but it works . 3-The IPad sleeve does not work on iPads in the kid-proof cases....we managed to stand the pad up using the separate “storage compartment” Velcro piece...it worked OK I decided not to return because it does what I need it to.... not perfectly, but OK

> 3 dayI have never written a review before, but felt this item was deserving of a 5 star review. We received the item in a very timely manner. The tray itself was not flimsy at all, it was firm but not too hard. Also, it sat level on my 7 yo lap, it didn’t lean forward or back, which I was concerned about when purchasing. The strap that goes around my child’s back held it in place perfectly. The drink and marker sized pockets that you can attach on top of the tray were even better than I expected. Completely versatile and good quality- you can move them around or remove them completely based on the activity. We did not use the iPad holder but my 7 yo enjoyed having it there anyway. We did remove it at one point so she could do an activity that needed more room on the tray. We also did not use the zippered pouch or the other pouches hanging down on either side of the tray but they were also good quality. The tray was great to color or do crafts on, eat and snack on, and rest her book on when she read. Most importantly, my child loved it as well.

Greater than one weekI shopped a long time to find the perfect lap piece for my toddler in the car. This one unfortunately does not fit the car seat very well. We hav a Peg Perego and it is not supported by the sides of the car seat so all the weight sits on my daughter’s lap and ends up sitting at an angle because of it. I am hoping when she moves to a booster seat things will be different. She is not really a big fan of it for any extended period of time. That fact aside this is a great design! The dry erase board is a REAL dry erase board, not a piece of platic like the other that don’t work with dry erase markers. Also has some nice storage pockets and stays on securely with the latches. Which it had a storage bag or something to make the clumsy piece and it lose pieces more convenient to store in the car.
