OMG ... bought based on the reviews of others. Sick of junk LEDs and regular flashlights. Unscrewed the heavy-duty butt cap, put 3 D-CELL Duracell batteries in, screwed down the cap (press down on the strong beefy spring), pressed rubber covered switch, and KAHBOW! Holy mother of pearl! A JET WHITE LIGHT, not yellow, not almost-white, BLINDING WHITE. I was stunned. Spent a few minutes pointing 100 feet across the back yard, then went the other way (probably 200 feet) across the street lighting up the neighbors house like a squad car ... this thing has a BEAM you CANNOT believe. Its like holding a much larger spotlight, but in your hand with no 12 volt or 120 volt cord/plug! I kid you not, this is hands down an incredible flashlight ... I plan to get another immediately (car/house), I will also buy the brackets, and possibly a belt holster. Ive always liked Maglite, but this one just blows me away. No more imported junk for me ... this is IT.

I purchased two of these large MagLite flashlights. I have had one before but in my many moves in the last few years it has disappeared. So I bought one for me and one for my husband. He dare not touch mine if his is misplaced !!!! I keep mine on my night stand as I have trouble sleeping all night and I need a good light to roam the house when I cant sleep. I have numerous little maglites but they are hard to keep track of so I decided on the larger one. I love the thing.

I bought this on the recommendation of a friend...we saw theirs in use, camping this summer. We got to see a momma bear and her cub at a safe distance with his mag-lite. He got his 2 yrs ago for a gift and loves it and so i bought one for us and it is great. Well worth the money...and it is a mag-lite so its built to last.

I sent this to my grandson who has a new truck and loves getting things to add to its coolness. The camouflage pattern on this large flashlight was the reason I chose this one, and he will enjoy using it, Im sure. He also likes boating and hunting, so this made an unusual and perfect little gift for him.

Its a maglite! Awesome flashlight. Stronger than I expected. Its range is very long for the lumens it has. After owning this I dont see myself buy more expensive made in China high lumens lights. This American made light is all I need. Primary roll is for home use and protection. I take it when traveling with family. Heavy duty quality, very bright blinding led light, and u can smash a bad guys face with it. Good for your night stand or vehicle. Highly recommend this.

I am Army Combat Vet and I expect 100% quality at a fair price! Thats what this is... I threw the batteries in as soon as I got opened the package. turned on that night and I expected a high quality Maglite and I got it..! No fuss, great quality and at a great PRICE!!! Tough, durable, strong light and water resistant... You can get this, with the competition out there but at a much higher COST!!! Buy Maglite!!! and no, I am not a salesman for the company...

The advertised lumen value seems to be accurate as compared to my other flashlights. But despite Asian manufactureres having long-since perfected the necessary optical characteristics of zooming a spot-to-flood flashlight, American manufacturers still cant manage to create a ZOOM flashlight without causing a large black spot to form within the light spot, in addition to greatly losing the uniformity of the illuminated area, when zoomed to the flood setting. But strangely, I bought Maglites Camo 3AA cell zoom flashlight version for a friend, about a year ago, and it didnt have this problem. So, I expected that the 3D cell one would work as well. But it didnt. In addition, this unit seems unnecessarily heavy...as I have 2 other 3D cell flashlights that are considerably lighter in weight.

This is a tough little light. Well little is an understatement. Its actually quite large. About a foot and a half long, this thing is made durable. Ive dropped it a few times in gnarly ways and it still functions perfectly. This thing shines bright; you can spot things at night as far as youd be able to see during the day or if you need more close, widespread lighting you can adjust the focus on the lens to disperse light across a wider area at the expense of range. I keep it in the door of my Jeep as an emergency light, whether the emergency is changing a flat tire in the after hours or needing to quickly beat someone over the head. Ive taken it hunting, night fishing, driving and hiking, and she hasnt failed me yet. I highly recommend this product if youre looking for a general purpose flashlight that will serve your purposes wherever you are and whatever situation youre in.
