> 3 dayLast time I played a Mario Kart was on SNES. This game is so fun with the Grand Prix, Battle mode, online, and co-op. I really enjoy the changes of 2 items, it offers alot of strategy. I especially enjoy the drift features and motion control. I started off with just doing the 50cc Grand Prix using the smart steering, no motion control, and not using drift at all. Now Ive played so much that Im on 200cc with only motion control, no smart steer, drifting like a King! Game is so fun and I really like the way it lets people jump into it from any point in their skill level.

> 3 dayits a blast for family time but also I miss having to win the CC racing speeds and cups. in the past you would have to beat levels in order to get new tracks but now you collect coins to get car customizations which is still pretty nice but eh. also grand prix can be played with more than 2 people now so thats a good upside. also the battles have larger battles fields and makes me miss the sudden death balloon battles I would have as a kid on the gamecube double dash gamecube battle field. any ways you can never go wrong with playing mario kart with the family

> 3 dayIf you have the Wii U version and are on the edge about repurchasing, Ill give you my two cents. First off the mobile application should speak for itself. Also the game does look remastered very well with a lot higher contrasts and great colors. All the characters are unlocked and all DLC from Wii U is included. I wasnt really digging buying it until I played it for around 30 mins. It sold me on why the switch is going to be a great console. Great graphics and great game. Hope this helps.

> 3 dayI bought this as a gift for my son and it’s just as fun as when I played on N64. Great quality, no funny business.

> 3 dayThis is a very, veeery fun game. If your looking for the most awsome multiplayer game ever, this is the one. The online can get very competative at times, buts the onlines pretty good, overall, the best online game too. Some people might say that super smash bros. Ultimate is the best online game, but it lags alot, mariokart 8 deluxe on the other hand runs very smoothely both in handheld mode, and playing online. Would very much reccomend this game.

Greater than one weekThis game, while an improvement, is quite literally a Wii-U port. Many will simply shove this off as Mario Kart itself is simply a continued resurrection of the same core gameplay. However, this game is notably a copy/paste of Mario Kart 8 on the Wii-U that they didnt even bother to change the name enough. They actually fixed the battle mode, fixed the item system during matches, and offered all DLC in lump-sum purchase. The game itself is a better rendition this time with HD quality within the game but a lot of things are still amiss. For example, the coin item is still in the game, item distribution by default in online is still wacky, kart mechanics are not traditional, etc. Overall, this game is what youd expect from a true Mario Kart game but we shouldnt have had to buy a Switch just to get it, PERIOD.

> 3 dayWhile it is pretty much the same as the version that came out for the Wii U, it does have a few extra features. While I had played the game on the WU, I never purchased the system or the game and therefore was excited to be able to play it on my own system. This game is really fun to play at parties, especially since you can just pull out the kickstand on the Switch and not have to worry about plugging it in to the TV. I also like how you can turn on different handicaps such as assisted turning and acceleration to help new players be able to participate. I also found this to be more smooth and overall better made than the regular Wii version. While I did love the Wii version and think that ones awesome as well, I love all the different modes, ways to customize your car, and different tweaks you can do for new challenges. It seemed in the Wii version you pretty much found a character/kart setup and never used anything else ever again. Overall, Ive already played it a ton and love the game. Nothing negative to say about it!
