> 3 dayI bought this little gem on sale. Worth it even at $59.99. Its a fun and competitive game that brings the whole house together for a family game night. And for a few dollars more I see Nintendo is offering more tracks from previous titles in this series. I reccomend this for any and all folks.

Greater than one weekIm so happy to be playing Mario Kart again! This was my game when I was younger, and having it now just brings it all back! All of the tracks are gorgeous and fun to play. Theres enough of them with enough variety where everyone will find favorites. The wide roster of characters to select from add to the fun! I never expected to be playing Link in Mario Kart ever, and had a blast as him! Ive already dabbled in the battle modes, and those seem just as entertaining as I remember! It sounds like the WiiUs version was lacking in this department, so Im glad they made the improvements. Its nice having the option to bank up 2 special toys to use on your competition from the mystery boxes, and I find it fun unlocking customization for my Karts. Its an exceptional game that Im glad got a port to the Switch from the WiiU. It is an older game though, so some who already HAVE it from the WiiU days may be a bit disappointed in not getting much fresh and new with this installment. Id give it a 4.5 Stars if I could simply because it is an older game that people have already on a different system. Id like to encourage Nintendo to have Switch era games available/developed like in the case of Zelda Breath of the Wild, so I believe a mild dock of stars would be appropriate. Cant wait to play the next generation of Nintendo!

> 3 dayI am now in my thirties but this game is still like crack to me. I love it so much but I honestly had to stop playing it because I became addicted. I feel like the addition of 200cc makes this game even more addictive because it finally raises the difficulty level for all us that grew up with the game and always wanted more speed. Previously, my favorite Mario Kart was Double Dash. This game is just as good as that one. I would say they are tied. It would be better than Double Dash if only they would have brought back tilt-a-kart, which was the best battle map ever created. Cant have everything though.

> 3 dayI couldn’t wait for this game to come in the mail. I was used to playing this game on the Nintendo Wii so I was really looking forward to it when it came out for the Nintendo switch lite. The graphics are really good, there’s new features and power ups, and more selection of how to customize your car. Worth the money and it’s loads of fun!

> 3 dayIf youre looking for the fun and challenging courses you enjoyed in Double Dash, you wont find it here. The courses are diverse and visually stunning, which make them fun the first few times you try them. But there is NO challenge whatsoever. There are four different rainbow roads and I couldnt fall off of them when I TRIED to. The camera and course automatically moves you around obstacles so you could probably just hold down the A button and youd still beat half the NPCs. On the other hand, if you want a game that your five year old and fifteen year old can play together, this is ideal. It levels the playing field across age ranges because you cant use strategy with your item throwing to screw over other players. Overall, if you are an older player or enjoyed the challenge in Gamecube-era games, you will be bored with this game after two or so playthroughs of each level.

> 3 daySo much fun and insanely nostalgic. They did a great job reimagining all the old Mario Kart games we grew up with and love. There are so many hours of gameplay for by yourself or with friends!

> 3 dayThere may not be a more unbalanced game that relys more heavily on luck than this it crazy! You can be really good and just get screwed over on the last lap! It makes this game soo frustrating! Now its not bad to have a frustrating game look at souls games, but in those you know why you died! In this its just luck. Games arent fun if luck can beat skill cuz then whats the point of getting better at it! It just gets worse everytime I play! I thought driving games were about skill not who can get lucky enough to not get blue shelled, red shelled, and green shelled on the last lap while in first to end up taking like 6th! Nintendo peaked at the 64! Play Mario cart 64 and see how much more balanced and actually fun and not rage inducing it is! Edit: Boy was I mad when I wrote this. Its Mario Kart, its great! Ive played this more than any other Mario Kart. Sometimes a deep breath goes a long ways.

> 3 dayGreat game in the Mario Kart series. This is a deluxe version of Mario Kart 8 that was released for the Wii U. This game has all the great things that make Mario Kart fun. The tracks are great and varied with some popular tracks from older Mario Kart games. Controlling the game works great too. You can use the Joy-Cons, split the Joy-Cons for 2 player, and use the pro controller. They all work great and controlling the kart is responsive and tight. They also include a Smart controller mode which basically helps steer and accelerate, great for younger kids. They will feel they are actually racing and not have to worry about falling off the track. There a lot of content in this game: tracks, racers, different kart mods, and the online play is fun too. This is a must have for the Nintendo Switch!

> 3 dayOne of the best racing games to play to make your friends and family hate you! I love it so much
