The 4oz bottle is very reasonably priced. I’ve been using it on my Saeco espresso machine brew unit without any issues. The lubricant withstands multiple washes and I do not need to reapply every time I clean the machine. Very satisfied with this product.

99% of reviews talk about meat grinders. I dont have a meat grinder. I needed something to lubricate the O rings on my syringe type meat injector that is stainless steel and industrial grade. This Petro-Gel is fantastic for that application. I also have a cheaper plastic Walmart meat injector and I used the Petro-Gel on that this cheapo injector as well. Worked GREAT!!! This is a great product and considering the price, I could not be happier. Shipping VERY fast. Thanks for a great product at a resonable price!!!

I removed cap and the seal was still in place just a tiny little slit that had begun to leak product near the top of the tube.

for my purpose this is overkill. I use 2 or 3 fingertips of this grease and I probably wont use any more for another year. It would be nice to be able to get a smaller tube but when they do that they charge you the same. They tell you to use this but my friends tell me that they use vegetable oil and it works fine. If you are going to use this all the time it might be worth it but for me it was a waste of money. I gave it five stars because it does what it needs to do and does it well.

Works good for my meat slicer and other food cutters been looking gor a food grafr lube this seems to be the best

  • Whats the frequency, Kenneth?

The package and listing say its white. Its colorless and nearly transparent. Its also tacky, which I find annoying. Its nothing like the lube that came on the new meat slicer for which I purchased it. I suspect it will be a dust magnet, which is unfortunate for those of us who store a meat slicer for extended periods between uses. Didnt see a lot of other choices, but now Im looking more closely.

    Greater than one week

My German made coffee maker started making strange noises like plastic straining against plastic two weeks after moving back from Germany. After a call to the maker and dicussion with a technician, he recommended a food safe lubrication. I did not think KY jelly would hack it so I searched amazon and came up with this product. I think I have enough words now. The product is reasonably priced and works well. Prompt mail service too.

Whats to love or hate about petrol-gel lubricant? The bottom line is that this works well to lubricate my slicer, which will extend its life significantly. This is not a product one can pick up just anywhere, and thankfully its something that Amazon makes available. From a price point, considering how little of it is used, if well kept, this will last for quite some time.

Bought this for a two-wheel on a aquarium filter. Used it for the pegs, as it is waterproof. Seems to help with the spinning for sure. Needs semi weekly applications. Not sure if it is getting in my tank yet tho.

Clear, odorless, and tasteless, this lubricant is just what you need for all your culinary machines. The silicone seals and O rings benefit from the protection and lubrication of this gel. Unlike various food grade oils that are too thin and become rancid with long storage, this stay put and is stable over time. The tube is about the size of a large toothpaste tube, and that should last a home kitchen several years.
