Mcglaughlin Oil Petrol-Gel Lubricant,White

This stuff should be included with every refrigerator so it could be applied to the drawer slides. I wish I would have known about it before I broke a drawer trying to open it.

Could have been packaged with a little more protection. A little lubricant sqeezed out of the tube. We use it for the German made Chefs meat, cheese slicer. There is no better slicer out there and we want to protect the gears with the proper lubricant. I am pleased with the product!

if this was what i needed. It has worked on my meat slicer. When I received the slicer the lube was white. The McGlaughlin Oil PETROL is clear and food grade so I knew it would be ok. My slicer is doing great and works as smooth as it did the first time I purchased. Will be buying more .

Tried Taylor Lube on the frozen yogurt machines at work, and the handles would stick, allowing product to run out even after the handle was no longer pulled down. Ended up with piles of wasted froyo! An employee told me about this stuff (actually, she shouldnt remember the name, but the blue label on a metal tube was good enough to find it) so I ordered it ASAP. This works SO much better than Taylor did. No more leaks = happy employees (less mess to clean up) and less waste!

I chose this particular lubricant because I purchased a new meat slicer and needed some lubricant. This lubricant was featured along with the same ad and as a matter of convenience I purchased it at the same time. After reading the reviews, this was an appropriate lubricant and appears to be similar to the product that came with the meat slicer. I would definitely recommend this lubricant.

I like having this product at home, it prolongs the life of my espresso machine.

The package and listing say its white. Its colorless and nearly transparent. Its also tacky, which I find annoying. Its nothing like the lube that came on the new meat slicer for which I purchased it. I suspect it will be a dust magnet, which is unfortunate for those of us who store a meat slicer for extended periods between uses. Didnt see a lot of other choices, but now Im looking more closely.

Assuming that the lubricant inside is fine, the purchase was received quickly. The tube looked as though it had been dropped from a truck and then kicked around by pedestrians. Outward appearance is not necessary, but it does make one wonder. At any rate, I do have an affordable lubricant for my coffee maker.

It is as described. It appears to be the same kind of gel that was on my slicer gear when I bought it. I bought this small tube to use on the gear of my slicer blade and I think it will last me as long as my slicer lasts, or as long as I live, whichever comes first! However, I am just a homemaker who uses my slicer occasionally so if you are a frequent user you may need more!
