Mercury Marine New OEM High Performance Gear Lube with Hand Pump, 91-8M0101435

This was easy to use and screwed in securely and the pump worked well; filled the chamber with oil. Would buy again.

Bought this for my 2017 mercury 15hp and the threads didn’t match the gear lube drain/fill hole. It’s a plastic fitting and maybe if it were brass, it might of worked. I had to taper the threads with my knife for it to work.

Exactly what I needed

The pump has the wrong thread size and pitch for my 25 HP 2008 Mercury Outboard lower end. This is not the fault of the seller. However it would be better if the connector was better described. Some pumps come with adapters to fit virtually any outboard. I made my own adapter from some smaller tubing I had laying around. Not optimum. Also the clear tube is prone to fall off of the pump end.

Pump isn’t long enough to get all the oil out. Had to pour the rest into a red solo cup( filled it up to about the 3/4 mark) and put the pump in the solo cup. Slight inconvenience but what ever

excellent product, great quality, right for the job

The oil is fine, the pump doesnt reach all of the oil no matter which postion you hold the bottle of oil in. Really dumb, a quart of oil which at best you can pump 2/3 of a quart out of it.
