I made a hobby out of making LED strip lights at home. I purchase these items constantly. Thiis time around, I got a bad batch. I has more defective plugs (male and female) in this a=batch than ever before. this was also the first batch that allowed me to use either a phillips head or straight screwdriver for connecting the wiring. The other plugs only worked with phillips. I had about 1/4 of them I had to throw away. I will very careful when ordering another batch of connectors

I bought them as general purpose connectors and have not applied them to anything yet . I think they will be very useful

These were a great value for the money. I wanted them for projects, to hook up projects to a universal power adapter, not for security cameras, and they work just as expected for my needs. ALSO, notice that you can use a male and female pigtail to make a polarity changer--but think twice, switching power supplies and ground-vs-negative are not as obvious a thing as back in the day of simple power transformers.

Wow......i had not really realized how much better these would be than the previous ones i bought from elsewhere. However, these REALLY are WAY better when i came to compare them. And no....i dont have any link/association with the sellers......they just really deserve to do better because they ARE better, is the way i feel, and i will use them again next time. The wiring is better and the quality of the jack plugs is better. Thanks!

This is a much easier way to put external power to a board or breadboard. Love it

wow so happy i got these. was installing surveillance cameras and needed to use cat6 cable since the hole was too small to pass through , i got these instead. yea man reaelly cool

Be sure to test these before using them. I had one of the female pigtails that was internally shorted. Wouldn’t have been a big issue except that I was connecting it to Li-Ion batteries. Not a good plan. Other than the occasional explosion hazard as noted above, these are a great option for connectorizing all kinds of things.

I bought these to make Y splitters, but the receptical are too small for two wires. They will come loose no matter how hard you try to tighten them if you use more than one wire per receptical.
