In August I got this phone for my daughter and the flagship Note 20 for myself. While the Note is great, in many ways the two are functionally equivalent, yet this this phone is $150 vs $1000 for the Note! Ive also used the Moto Power myself and was very please - amazed by the battery life. If buying a new phone and budget is a consideration, it is worth taking a close look at the Moto line to see if one may be a good option before going with one of the two main phone companies.

Not a whole lot different than my G or the other ones I had . The screen is bigger, the battery is eh doesnt seem any longer than the other models. But its pretty durable I spilled a Beer and Fireball on it last night and its still going!

This phone has really nice optics whether using the camera, browsing internet, or just texting. Large screen. It truly is very snappy-fast. Good product.

I bought this phone to replace an Honor 7x which I liked very much. This Motorola phone is good, but not that fast in some cases and has an annoying problem of launching apps when you are just setting the phone down. It will launch apps that arent even on the screen at the time you put the phone down. I could see this happening once in a while, but it happens virtually every time I put the phone down unless the screen is off in sleep mode. Also, the phone is very slow to download and install apps. And then it takes a long time to launch the app after its installed. The battery life in this phone is very good. I can usually go for more than 24 hours before I have to recharge it. Overall, the phone is nice, but I really liked my Honor 7x phone much more.

This is a great phone for the price. I was sceptical about buying it with the few bad reviews that it had but I am glad I did. Bought this phone because my note 9 got cracked and the screen flashed and would stop working. This phone has been great there are many things I like about it and its the same size as my old phone. I did see people saying they did not like the swipe for the home and back button and neither did I but there is a way to put the home, back and open apps button on the home screen which is what I ended up doing. Over all its a great phone for the price of it.

I go through a lot of phones so I didnt want to spend a lot of money on my next one so I ended up with this. Ended up being a lot better than expected it runs any of my day to day apps I use. The only thing I could see needing improvement is the camera but can I even complain for $150? No, with options like this there is no need to spend $1000 on a phone honestly very impressed with it. Its not blazing fast but with that comes battery life that will last me multiple days with heavy use. Great buy wont regret it

    Greater than one week

I have had this phone almost two weeks. In that time, I have enjoyed this device. I picked this up on cyber Monday for $105. Which I feel is an excellent value for what you get. However, this phone is far from perfect. I wanted to do a quick review of my time with the Moto G Fast. Pros Build-i was blown away by how nice and premium the back pearl white plastic feels. Fingerprint sensor-this is a great and accurate sensor. Moto actions-this is why Im a Motorola fan. I love these specific gestures. Camera-surpringly good not perfect but also alot better than most budget phones. Now the cons Battery-probably the biggest letdown. The most Ive gotten is in the picture above. Most days Im getting 5-5 1/2 hours of screen on time. Lack of RAM-a shame this didnt have at least 4 gb of RAM because performance is really decent on this device. Couldve been better and had less app closes with more RAM. Internal storage-in 2020, 32 gb of internal memory simply isnt enough. This can be solved with an SD card but still a con to me. Brightness-i love Motorola, but they always seem to make less bright displays. I use mine on 100% all the time otherwise it looks too dim to me. Overall this is a great device and for the price its well worth it. The few issues arent a huge deal, because my iPhone XR had the same kind of bugs and glitches. And it was $400 vs $100. Im impressed this device can do everything a more expensive iPhone can do and even a few things better. So Id highly recommend this to anyone.

Its fine. From the perspective of how actually amazing any smartphone is considering technology only a few decades ago this thing is fine. Its totally fine. Relative to other phones this thing isnt very good. Its show, buggy, unresponsive. It has a mediocre camera. It doesnt have a home button, physical or capacitive, but relies on a cumbersome gesture system which partially works. Sometimes you want to go to your home screen but it cycles through your apps or activates the Google assistant. Its a good idea but it doesnt work right. The biggest problem and a real deal breaker is that its poorly optimized - I cant get many apps to work properly. Audible is completely broken. Many games dont work at all. Some basic shopping apps dont work. Ive had knockoff mobile devices that didnt give me trouble like this. I cant even use the YouTube app. I have to use a low end browser and view videos on the mobile site... Otherwise the device works fine for basic uses and since I really just use it for work its adequate. Good battery life, too. The device looks nice and feels high end. Its not and Id probably something else in the future. TL;DR: its an adequate device for basic purposes. Has major optimization issues which make a lot of apps not work. Looks pretty. Good battery life.

For the price this is a great phone. The battery last me two full days easily. Coming from a six year old Samsung to this new Moto G fast, has been a bit of a learning curve but, Im liking this phone alot. The one thing I do not like is that this phone is heavily burdened with pre-loaded google apps. Its very cumbersome to transfer photos from the phone to my computer. Ill be going back to a Samsung. Be sure to turn off the talk back feature for the visually impaired. It is very annoying when the phone goes into that mode. I learned the hard way, if you press both volume keys at the same time, the phone goes into talk back mode. Disable that feature when you first setup the phone!
