> 3 dayIm VERY rough on phones (in construction) and refuse to spend big bucks on them. This is my 3rd Moto. and I usually get 3-ish years out of each one at less than $200.00. The unlocked G series is incredibly user friendly. Im with Republic & the GFast rocked into set up the minute I swapped my micro SIM. Pictures are sharp, new Macro lens is amazing. All kinds of Moto funsies like the chop motion that flips on flashlight, twist to activate camera & face down for Do Not Disturb. Im the Designated Family Geriatric Tech Support and told all of the oldsters that constantly bug me ...to buy this little model or Im offline... They did and were all happy! Of course, I still have to deal with my phone must be broke nonsense, but our Tech Support calls are much easier with the G Fast. See the little picture, poke THAT picture The Only Bitch I had, briefly, was that the bottom bar on the screen with a Back Button Arrow, Home Circle and Whats Open Square was gone on this model. It was an Easy fix to get them back after asking Google . If spending a bunch on a phone spins your spurs, then go forth. A Moto G handles anything I throw at it, very nicely. Im not a gamer, nor do I watch movies on the phone, so I cant judge those. Sound is just OK, not exciting.

Greater than one weekThis phone at first(which I bought 2 for my wife and I) was pretty nice. Battery hardly needed charging throughout the day with regular use and the speed was untouchable. Fast forward to 2022 of Nov...both of our phones are glitchy and seem to get worse. Dont bother with the warranties either. Not worth it. The only reason we still use these phones are for the convenient shake on flashlights. So if you wanna spend $200 for a flashlight then this is the phone for you. Sorry Motorola...this is not FAST

> 3 dayPlease Be Aware! This phone was delivered in a Empty Amazon Bag, there was No Package protection what so ever inside the Amazon bag, They usually place Bubble wrap stuff around your product, Or little bags filled with air. But this was delivered with Nothing at all except the phone in its box which by the way was Bouncing around all over in the box... the phone was not secured properly inside the phone box. I just wanted to let anybody know that this may ne how your package will be delivered with your phone inside, So I would highly Advise you or somebody else be home when this package is delivered. Because I have had packages Thrown over an unlocked gate simply because the delivery driver was too lazy to open the gate or he or she was having a bad day. The phone it self is working so far, and for the price this phone seems to be worth the money so far. This phone is for my 9 yr old son, and my 12 year old son also has one as well.

> 3 dayThe Moto G Fast seems to be a great phone so far. I have used it two days and I still have 40 percent on the Battery. It has good sound and visibility. The cameras are fine for me, way more than I am used to. It has a bigger screen than I am used to but the phone pockets well with a thin phone cover. It is as fast as my older android 8 phone that I wont name that when new was between 600 to 800 dollars. I was concerned it may not be as fast as my wifes larger Moto G Power with 1080 screen and 4GB of ram but I set hers up and I cant see much difference in speed or the screen for what I use a phone for. Maybe I would if I gamed on it or watched lots of hd movies but that is not what a phone is for in my opinion. For the sale price here on amazon for this 2020 phone with android 10 I couldnt pass it up and so far I am glad I didnt. This Motorola G fast worked great in transferring my contacts and files from my old phone and after loading my ATT sim card and micro SD card with my music on it all worked well. Motorola phones do operate a little different than the other android phones in some areas but it isnt much of a learning curve. I think for the money, if they last as described, they will be hard to beat and maybe they will force some of the other ridiculously priced phones to come back down to earth. Hope this helps. 12/12/2022 Update: I am still very happy with this phone, I have to charge it about every 4th or 5th day but I am not on my phone 24/7 like some folks. It has not missed a beat and I can not see buying another one unless this one breaks. I dont know why Motorola stopped building this one, maybe it was too good, lol. Check the used market and you dont find many of these for sale, I suspect it is because they are too good to get rid of. They have held their value better than most. Just my humble opinion.

> 3 dayFor the price, the phone is more than a solid purchase. Fingerprint reader works great, screen is nice and large and the camera is a B- compared to my old iPhone 6 (have to hold the phone a bit more steady). The battery life is about 5+ hours of screen time for me, varies if youre using location services etc. Even if this phone only gets me a year its right there with apples phones for a fraction of the cost.

> 3 dayIts a good phone, I personally like it and had no trouble getting it activated at my local metro. My only issue is its so new there arent any cases for it, at least none i can find, but not a fault of the phone. The closest fit Im using for now is a metro g power one. Only reason I upgraded my phone was because of space issues with my old model, so I cant review the other specs personally but I was recommended this phone and have been told its a very good phone for the price!

> 3 dayIts fine. From the perspective of how actually amazing any smartphone is considering technology only a few decades ago this thing is fine. Its totally fine. Relative to other phones this thing isnt very good. Its show, buggy, unresponsive. It has a mediocre camera. It doesnt have a home button, physical or capacitive, but relies on a cumbersome gesture system which partially works. Sometimes you want to go to your home screen but it cycles through your apps or activates the Google assistant. Its a good idea but it doesnt work right. The biggest problem and a real deal breaker is that its poorly optimized - I cant get many apps to work properly. Audible is completely broken. Many games dont work at all. Some basic shopping apps dont work. Ive had knockoff mobile devices that didnt give me trouble like this. I cant even use the YouTube app. I have to use a low end browser and view videos on the mobile site... Otherwise the device works fine for basic uses and since I really just use it for work its adequate. Good battery life, too. The device looks nice and feels high end. Its not and Id probably something else in the future. TL;DR: its an adequate device for basic purposes. Has major optimization issues which make a lot of apps not work. Looks pretty. Good battery life.

> 3 dayThe phone worked well for a while, but then the speaker stopped working and Motorolas warranty service seriously sucked. When the speaker died, I contacted Motorola who sent me to their local authorized repair place and paid for the service. So far, so good. I took multiple trips to the local repair facility where they factory reset the phone and replaced the speaker, but said that it didnt fix the problem- there still was no sound. They found no water or physical damage and determined that the phone was non-repairable and gave me a form stating that. I then contacted Motorola. I was told that despite going to the authorized repair facility and having their form, Motorola wasnt going to send me a working replacement. My options were: 1)send in my phone, be phone-less for about a week, wait for them to receive it, and then have them contact me to explain my options, or 2) pay them $35 for their service and pay a ~$130 deposit and have them send me a phone before I send mine in. If I chose that, they send me a replacement phone, I ship them the old one, they look at it, determine if its covered under warranty, and then call me to explain how much I would be billed if it werent covered. The person on the phone said she couldnt tell me how much I would be billed because it wasnt her department and the department that could tell me doesnt accept phone calls. I could understand needing a deposit to send me a new phone if I was just calling in saying my phone broke. However, after making me go to have my phone inspected locally and still making me jump through all of those hoops after their repair facility inspected it is pretty crappy customer service.
