Dead silent yet provides incredible airflow.

I was looking for a quiet 140mm fan to use as an exhaust, while wanting good airflow at a lower RPM.

i love it, a little strange color no combine with almost nothing , but is very good and serene, if you want something faster but that sounds more , corsair purchase

Very quiet, no whining sound. Bigger size moves more air. Isolated mounts keep motor from vibrating the cabinet..Different power inserts run fan at three different speeds.I run it at 12 volts and it is quiet. Of course you have to enlarge the opening if youre replacing a 120mm fan.

I had a pair of Noiseblocker (PK-3 I believe) on my 280 mm rad. My fan controller only has 0V, 5V and 12V settings, so at 5V they were extremely weak, and 12V extremely loud. Having a pair of NF-F12 fans on my 240mm rad, which I normally run at 12V (unless I want pure silence), I thought maybe the makers of the best 120mm fan on the planet could be worthy replacements for the 2x140 rad.

So, recently I’ve been completing some final tweaks on my machine and now that I’ve settled on the ram, cpu, cooler, case, and tweaked my overclocking for best balance between good idle temperatures and performance, it was time to delve into case fan land. Something told me to just stick with Noctua, but of course I had to go and start watching some youtube videos that claimed the Kaze Flex or Artic P series stuff was king for case fans. Nope, not even close, at least not in my ‘case’, literally. I have a Corsair 275r Airflow and after trying out the Kaze Flex 140mm in the front of my case, there was a low hum that started to bother me. Don’t get me wrong, they are leaps and bounds better than any standard fan that would come in a case, but there was still noise/hum, and maybe I’m picky, but the only thing I wanna hear is airflow, not any kind of hum.

Loving how quiet this fan is. Bought one as an intake fan for my NZXT Source 530. Install wasnt as bad as people say. Just yank on those little rubber anti-vibrating pegs and the fan will be secure. It is very quiet and Im pleased with it so far.
