> 24 hourBought this to replace a fan in my car battery charger. Had to mod the cable on the fan and the housing on the charger but this thing is whisper quiet! Very nice!

> 24 hourCant tell its running without looking, and its cooling as well if not better than the old ones. They look strange with the brown of course but you know youre getting quality with this company. Would have loved if they had these available in grey like the others, but probably not enough market who knows. Used them to cool a PC power supply that was modified (by removing the old fan) to fit in a slim Powermac G5 power supply housing.

> 24 hourIts okay. Its probably more quiet than some out there, but I bought this for a PC in my music studio. Its a little quieter than my previous PC, but I will still have to use some sound dampening around the PC to prevent some noise in the microphones. But, Im also a lot more picky about the sound. This would probably be fine for most office computers. It also is easy to install and is definitely top quality build.

> 24 hourThese fans are great with noise level. Super silent! They are not that fun to look at though. If you are blind you will love them. Or just close your eyes and enjoy the silence. I really wish Noctua would give up on their color scheme; it really doesnt match anything remotely cool in the PC industry. This makes zero sense to me. Yet I still buy them for function over form. 5 stars for performance although it is tempting to unsub and dislike based on looks.

> 24 hourreplaced the dual fat 360 fan with two 60mm noctuas, had to splice some wires and trim the plastic shroud but man is it worth it, my 360 is super quiet now

> 24 hourI got tired of the tiny high speed fan on the PNY GT 730 card in my HTPC, so I thought Id give it an upgrade since there was plenty of room around it. I took that fan out, installed the rubber anti-vibration pins on the new Noctua fan, glued the pins to the heatsink, and plugged it in with the U.L.N.A. The results? I can no longer hear any noise at all from the card! I did a stress test with Furmark to push it beyond realistic usage, and the temperature with the low speed Noctua fan (74C) was only 5C higher than the high speed PNY fan (69C), which is well within the GT 730s limits!
