Noctua NF-A8 FLX, Premium Quiet Fan, 3-Pin (80mm, Brown)

These are the best 80mm fans you can get that are both quiet and have surprisingly good pressure, even at low rpms.

Excellent little fan. I use it to keep my 10 meter radio running cool. It works perfectly and the noise level is not an issue whatsoever while Im talking on the radio.

I purchased a brand new high current switching power supply. The cooling fan was extremely loud and was totally annoying to be in the room with it. I purchased this Noctua NF-A8 to replace it and was totally satisfied. The Noctua also delivered the same amount of cubic feet of cooling as the OEM one but was barely noticeable audibly.

Used as a silent replacement for a Behringer NX3000D amp, plug-n-play and silent.

Straight out of the box you can see how just the mounting will eliminate some vibration noise. They really thought of a “quiet” build for these things. Replaced 2 server fans that were just loud not bad. The difference is that I now open the door to the room the server is in and you have to look for it and then listen quietly for the fans when you find it. LOVE’em!!!

I purchased the Noctua NF-A8 FLX 80mm fans to replace the stock fans in my Synology NAS box in order to achieve higher air-flow and quieter cooling for the always-on NAS box. I am a veteran computer builder and technophile, however this was my first experience with the Noctua fans. I was extremely impressed right out of the box.

Used a pair to replace dying fans on my security system. The fans come with a large verity of cable adapters including a a pair of gel filled button connectors that made it a breeze to connect the fans to my security system without the need for solder. The fans are extremely quiet for the amount of air they move. Well worth the premium!

Installed these in my Norco SS-500 hot swap racks. These fans dropped right in. Only took 30min to replace the fans in both of the SS-500s. Now I only hear the air moving. The fan noise is gone. My drives (7200rpm) now are running about 2 degrees warmer than with the stock fan. For me well worth the noise reduction.
