Noctua NF-A8 FLX, Premium Quiet Fan, 3-Pin (80mm, Brown)

Nice and quiet. I had a loud subwoofer amp with an 80mm fan and I fixed it with this fan. It provides enough CFM but is super quiet,

I purchased this fan to cool a DIY LED light setup for my aquarium. The fan runs completely exposed on top of the aquarium. Currently Im running it at half speed (6 V) and the only way I can tell that its running is by looking at the fan blades. I normally expect fans to make some noise. They are moving air around after all, but this fan is absolutely silent, no hum, no buzz, no sound electronic sound from the motor running, nothing.

A little thicker than I was expecting but thats my fault for not checking the dimensions. Amazing fans, push a lot of air and stay quiet at full speed. Even more quiet than my 140mm CoolerMaster fans.

best fans on the market hands down.

I bought this to compare with Noiseblocker NB-BlackSilent Pro and just amazed on product quality and the low noise these 2 items have performed!!!

I purchased the Noctua NF-A8 FLX 80mm fans to replace the stock fans in my Synology NAS box in order to achieve higher air-flow and quieter cooling for the always-on NAS box. I am a veteran computer builder and technophile, however this was my first experience with the Noctua fans. I was extremely impressed right out of the box.

If you want a quiet fan, look no further. These are very expensive but I have not found anything that works as well or quietly for less. I do wish they came in black rather than their signature browns, but that is minor.
